I don’t understand why they can’t start from the beginning with A Drink Before the War (the best book of the series) that establishes the characters so perfectly. It’s also gritty as fuck and awesome. But hey let’s re-tread the third-worst book of the series on tv. Sure why not.

The source material is stronger.
