All right, maybe you're not an idiot. But still not right about MST3K being "overhyped."

Answer: extremely well. I've watched a half dozen of them over the last few weeks (after being away for years) and I was surprised by how much I was laughing. Some of the jokes are a bit dated, but when there are something like 600-800 jokes per episode a surprising number of them hit hard.

You're an idiot if I'm honest. The vast majority of them are worth watching.

Wow! Best news I've seen all week, other than perhaps the fact that the MST3K Kickstarter is looking more and more likely to get enough money to fund a full 12 episode season of one of the greatest shows ever made.

Polar bear was actually explained completely on the complete series special features: it was something to do with testing fertility on the island.

This is by far the stupidest fucking thing I've ever read here.

The fuck?

*Chris Pratt immediately signs on to Spielberg's next project: "Oklahoma Smith and The Ziggurat of Mystery"*

Jesus Christ. This show is just fucking crushing it. Week after week.

Agreed. I think that he does have the "hug" power (or at least believes that he does) and that much of his behavior (not hugging his sister, watching videos of Wayne, etc.) have been due to his fear of the "price" of wielding the power, whatever that price is, and his desire to learn as much as he can about it

You called?

Yet another blow to women in the industry (not an intentional pun.)

Spot on grade. I actually liked this show a lot more than the reviewer for the first 3-4 weeks, but I've come around to the total shit-show that this is. I mean…ugh.

I noticed that as well. Upon rewatch though, there is a lot of time between when the gun is put down and when Mr. Robot pulls it out of his jacket/waistband. My point is that there was a lot of time for him to take it from the table and put it on his person. I don't necessarily see this as any kind of weirdness.

As I commented above, Slater doesn't say "How are the kids" in his scenes tonight. The black guy he visits (sorry, not able to find his name right now) before threatening him with a gun says "Say 'Hi' to the kids for me" earlier in the scene.

I don't see/hear that line. The other guy in that scene says "Say 'Hi' to the kids for me" before the gun is pulled. Slater never says anything about kids.

The important thing about the dog is not that it has eaten one of his circuit board chips, but that Elliot finds out that the Flipper is micro-chipped and therefore traceable. With his (correct level of?) paranoia, I'm envisioning him worried as hell that someone is using the dog to eavesdrop/track/locate/etc him. I

Plainsong was in Ant-Man.

Wait, what? I finally come here this morning to bask in what is obviously an "A" grade episode, only to see a fucking B-?

I'm not sure it was "better than the first film" but it was hella underrated. And yes, I know that the actual "mystery" turned out to be super dumb and that the climax was pretty inert…but just about everything else was actually quite compelling.
