Every option you listed tries to scare the shit out of people for ratings. It just depends on which demographic they're targeting at the moment and what they're xenophobic towards.

They serve up a disingenuous mix of "aww shucks" stories that pander to their viewership. It's infuriating they flip flop between we're not news, we're entertainment when they're held accountable for diffusing disinformation then back to we're fair and balanced news when it's ratings time.
In unrelated news, a study finds that Fox News viewers are marginally more gullible than followers of other news sources.
Man, if you really think MSNBC is far left, you need to lay off the cable news.
It's easy to be trusted when you cultivate an audience of the gullible and the out of touch.
God I hate editorializing. I watch and read the news to learn what happened, not what a reporter THINKS about it. If a plane crashes and people die, sure, call it a tragedy, but I don't want to hear about weather proposed Democratic OR Republican policies would have saved the lives of all on board. :/
Faux News most trusted? I haz a sad for America.
The fact that MSNBC is considered 'far left' shows just how skewed the political/media spectrum is in the US. Far left in the US is barely left of center in most places.
holy fucking shit
This is why the rest of the world sees us as a joke.
The other thing I realize is that if I want my future children to be news media anchors, I need to give them a regular name, but spelled incorrectly or pronounced weird. Like Megan, but spelled Megyn. Or Susan, but spelled Suzanne and pronounce Suze-on.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I prefer for a network to have a higher "somewhat" rating than "a great deal." It shows (I really hope...) that the viewers of that news station are critical consumers of news coverage and not just blind followers.
That's not as bad as I feared it might be. Looks like Fox News also had the fewest who trusted it "somewhat". So there's the hardline devotees and the people who see it as the bullshit it is.
These customers remind me of the dumbest person I ever had walk through the doors of the Borders I managed after college.
I have the feeling that there are enough Iron Shiek stories out there to do a BCO just on him. He's like the definition of performance art.
I just have to admire both the perseverance and courage of Emma and her boyfriend. I don't know if I could have waited that long for McDonald's, nor do I know if I would have had the bravery to eat something prepared by someone so clearly on another plane of existence.
