Totally agree. I started my career working as a floor rep at an office depot and have learned more about things than I ever did in a classroom. Dealing with real life scenarios first hand in people skills between coworkers, customers, and supervisors has been extremely valuable.

No one is forcing these people to commit to a monogamous relationship. They're grown ass adults who actually do have a choice in what actions they take. Plenty of people are very happy in monogamous relationships, and plenty of people who aren't decide not to be in one. No one is forcing anyone to cheat.

This is nothing more than a company protecting its interests in a completely expected, completely acceptable, and completely standard way. It should be more of a shock that this person thought what he was doing was acceptable or appropriate than that he was fired.

Pretty much any company would do this if an employ started talking to media about internal development, especially something that is secretive.

Normally you can’t talk about your work without getting approval. This is totally normal.

I give you guys props though for finding a font more janky than Comic Sans. Coming from a graphic designer, I think it’s spectacular.
