Agreed, this Murica nothing to see here

Am I missing something? I see no connection other than the origins of the festival or party or whatever that would tie her to KKK leanings. If dumbass Black people wanted to join that bullshit, that’s of course their choice but I don’t see where she was personally connected to the KKK or even racism. I also think it’s

I’ve been a fan since his Faith album days and Older is my favorite album of his; I think because as Rich points out, it’s so revealing while simultaneously withholding.

Funny enough one of my favourite songs is “It Doesn’t Really Matter”, which listening to it now it’s absolutely a gay song. I did not know back then why I found so much comfort in it.

“But YESS!”

Your dismissal of the entirety of Good News makes me sad. Obviously its not Moon and Antarctica, but it is a good album.

Also RIP Johnny Crawford, child star of The Rifleman (the first TV show about a single parent) and original Mouseketeer. He was 75

1. The letter was issued yesterday. The denial came this morning, and the letter probably played a significant part in making that happen.

2. Until it was scrubbed, his public facebook profile had a cover photo containing the OK gesture (until it was scrubbed). His publicly available donation history makes clear he’s a

White supremacist propaganda vs. people opposed to it = “dumb culture war”

Plenty of people wanted to punch out Scott Rudin.

Gotta say, the “it’s-all-about-the-visuals, plot-free dreamy-soundtracked semi-documentary thing” is one of my least favorite kinds of movies to watch stoned. Piss off everybody who insisted it was the greatest idea to put on Koyaanisqatsi with the lights off back in the day.

The amount of outright hatred she inspires is super disturbing. Even here (why, on this very site!), people will RACE to share that they don’t like her, don’t find her interesting, just can’t understand for the liiiife of them what people see in her, and it’s like ... ok? I wish they’d teach a course in high school on

IT’S COMMENTS LIKE THIS THAT ARE MAKING ME LEAVE KINJA FOREVER!!!

She’s pretty harmless, but I’m always annoyed by people who announce they’re leaving an online community only to come back a few weeks later. She could have just as easily taken a 3 week break to see if she really wanted to leave, followed by an announcement if that was the case.

Chrissy Teigen is such a harmless person. There’s no need at all for the vitriol she inspires. I’ve seen no evidence that she’s rubbing her wealth in anyone’s face. She’s just tweeting things about her life that she finds interesting and some of those things are lavish because she happens to be very wealthy. I see

Now, what’s the difference in penalty between ‘tampering with evidence’ and ‘violation of civil rights, resulting in death?’

Except unlike Juicero, Theranos’ work actually lead to at least one person dying because of bad blood work.

It really isn’t the same, and if you’d watch more than the fifteen minutes you’d know it.

Here’s a question for you — did you have a similar reaction when you heard some of the more outlandish things that come out of Gwyneth Paltrow’s mouth? Because if one’s okay by you, and the other’s somehow out of bounds despite it sounding new-agey and twee, then maybe your problem isn’t rooted with the hippy-dippy
