They’re actually the Rhino of film and show reissues, because they are founded by the guys from Rhino, after the company was bought by Warner.

Well, this is Corman we’re talking about. We can’t discount the notion that he dumped his catalog for quick cash, but if he did, he dumped it on the right people.
Agreed, this is not just Corman dumping his catalog for quick cash - Shout! will treat his legacy with love and respect.
Big coup for those guys. I imagine your blessings didn’t hurt either, Your Eminence.
Shout! Factory is a good home for this. Their home video releases, mostly special editions of niche catalog titles from other studios, are usually top notch in technical terms and feature a wealth of supplements. They’re kind of like the Criterion of pulp cinema.
Come a little bit closer
Well, Dana, at least Mr Young’s catalog doesn’t include songs about child molestation and statutory rape like a member of the NRA’s board’s does.
Even funnier is the fact that Neil Young is Canadian.
Down by the river
I shot my baby
Down by the river,
I shot her, but if guns were banned I would’ve just used a knife or something else and also this is really a mental health issue.
What exactly is WRONG with porn, pray tell? Has Kinja caused this site to slink to sex-shaming?

I do prefer this to all the cases where coverage has just vanished without mention.
Now I’m further from turning my adblocker off on this site than I’ve ever been before.
what the hell, why does AV Club refuse to cover women and POC-led shows? there are so many oversights in this category (The Mick, Speechless, Queen Sugar, Mozart in the Jungle, Survivor’s Remorse, One Day at a Time, Claws, Good Behavior, just to name a few...) that it’s really starting to feel like a targeted effort.
The Good Wife’s comments section on the AV Club was one of the best places to be on Mondays (Mad Men’s was also one of my favorites). Interesting, passionate comments all-around. I miss it.
They basically take their decisions based on the traffic it generates, because of the page views, which are the the base for the rates at which they sell ad space, the main source of income for a website.
Even if I also understand it, I’m really sad to read there is no regular coverage for the show. For me, the Good Fight is one of those shows that has so much to discuss and analyze with these reviews providing really excellent insights in to what was happening.
The Obama library isn’t one of the top clients at the firm. The middleman for the Obamas was a good friend of Diane, and the firm assumed that the library would be a shoo-in for them. That’s why they had bragged for five months about getting it to their other clients, and why it would be very embarrassing for their…
