Did you actually read my post? I'm no kid, I'm 56 and I was referring quite clearly to musical theatre, not punk music.
And LOL? I never use it, personally. I leave that to people who cannot spell or write proper grammatical sentences.

Green Day totally deserve this honour. As possibly the youngest ever inductees, their achievements in music have piled up - Grammys, Emmys, and even a couple of Tonys for the soundtrack of their musical, which opened up that genre to a whole new generation who thought that was something for the old people.
