Not all carbon fiber is woven equally. High modulus carbon fiber will be much stiffer and more brittle. The stuff in the video looks fairly low-end, probably 20 MSI and 3K judging from the weave (which, by the way, is purely cosmetic). Still, not that surprised from the video.

It really depends on the car and the weight. For passenger cars around 3000 lbs, I’d say 260-300hp is good enough for most situations. “Reasonable” sports cars, I’d say 350-400hp.
