I think the look fine. It’s a donut. There is science (and a tiny bit of luck) involved. Can’t be perfect every time, every cook now's that.  Can be close if you are a pro but we ate talking about donuts here.  As long as they taste good.....now I want Duck Donuts.  Time for a veterans day holiday trip :)
