“This guy gets it. He’s in the business of...”

That one station every 75 miles doesn’t mean much if it only has two outlets and there’s 16 hours worth of charging queued up in front of you when you coast in on e-fumes.

Glad it works for you. This model wouldn’t work for me. I drive 45+mi each way (90 miles total) to work everyday down a rural midwest highway. The only charger in the town where I work is “1" at a hotel by the interstate 10 miles from work. And no my company won’t even repave the parking lot and has a leaking roof.

What happens when more than 4 people at work drive an EV and need to charge while at work. I work at a very large hospital that employs 5000 people. There are currently 4 charging stations that are not yet hooked up.

They make them crossovers because that’s what the average person wants and it makes money for them to build cars like the Stinger.

But that’s what this whole next generation is about, moving from “aspirational” to “practical”

Interesting. I’ve never understood why people buy cars with trunks when a hatchback / wagon gives you so much flexibility and room in the same size car.

Early adopters and EV geeks like the sleek futuristic look. Regular people want bland crossovers.

Watt a current pun.

Too bad there’s so much resistance.

Why does the word “Mercedes” have 3 E’s but they’re all pronounced differently?

I think that every place I have ever worked in the last 15 years, to include SAIC, CACI, Verizon, and the Federal Goverment, have ALL sent me nice form letters that my “information” was lost or stolen on someone’s laptop. At this point, I am not sure there is any real protection anywhere from this stuff. Then again,

I mean if this were Russell Westbrook doing that you’d have a point, but this is a high school girl. That took some crazy athleticism in addition to perfect timing.

Your take on this is incorrect. And even in your compliment to her, you parsed it by saying the ball richoched off her to help.

How did we build a robust middle class and widespread prosperity after WWII?

One thing I think would do a lot for the economy would be to tie the income of congress to the average income of the state they represent (or the GDP of the state). This would give them an incentive to improve their state as much as possible, as they would directly benefit.

And the real culprit is the fact that earned income is taxed at a far higher rate than investment income is one of the true scams of the 20th and 21st century. Once you get enough to be able to live off investments, you essentially live in a 15% tax world for life.

I like what the Germans do: if a company has X number of employees, then Y% of its board of directors must have labour representation.

Attach ceo pay to the lowest paid worker in the company.

Out of curiosity, how does “move some of it from the Have-Everythings to the Have-Nothings” work exactly? Minimum universal income provided by taxes on those that make above X dollars?
