I personally like this look a BIT better than the old one...I don't understand the HUGE gray strips running down the side which can go into making both columns relatively wider but I have the feeling AdBlock is making me see grey where others are seeing ads.

I thought it was interesting too....

What's that tab you got open to the left? it looks like you can put a search term right in the tab?

I disagree with most people who are hating on the re-design...I actually find it useful that I can browse an article and then without clicking anywhere just scroll through all the postings on the right and go to another article.

@RawlsRorty: i phone. wait what? you phone? with what do you phone? well, i phone with iphone.

@armerad: Woooooah. I def. got totally PWND. Thanks actually. Good to know Android is safe.

Listen, I love Google. I REALLLY DO. But after the whole Android thing, I think Google calling out Microsoft is a little bit of the "pot calling the kettle black" kind of thing...

For those wondering how this gets out, word of mouth when people are concentrated together (i.e at protests) is one powerful thing. It takes one person in the crowd to know this and suddenly everyone finds out.

@FriarNurgle: Yeah I got that too but only after seeing the other pictures on the newegg website. At first because of the angle and stuff I thought it was some super giant USB. It just looked really big for some reason (I think because of the computer and the focus factor around it maybe?)

Next, Flavaflave will be representing Swatch or Rolex. Waaait those are not American companies, they wouldn't do something stupid.

@Apoc28: Sometimes something can just feel wrong. I'm not exactly sure about the reason I think it's wrong to drink human milk or eat human cheese but I do feel it's wrong. Like the world already thinks, and really they have every right, that Americans are a bit crazy (debt, Iraq, greed) and if we start bottling human

um I think the moral boundary for this one is at the borderline of I would be willing to eat a slice as a dare if my friend bought it. And I have a weird feeling it's gonna be one of those things I would have a second slice after that first dare cuz it peeked my interest a bit. But THEN after that, it's just grosss

@iMattv4: Yes because it is more likely for a rule to be wrong than the rule follower to have made a mistake...

My favorite thing about this post is the picture that has two times the number of MacBooks than people....

What I don't get is how we haven't figured out how to effectively internalize that thing all-together OR a simpler solution, make the outlet-converter end much shorter than the converter-laptop end.

@Tim Gee: Well those people already exist. They are called freelance journalists. It's a MUUUUCH harder life since there is no certainty in your next paycheck and your next "purchased" article. It seems like you would have to try too hard to make sure you're getting purchased.

@Tim Gee: Not to rain in on your parade but I think you forgot the whole censorship deal with your idea. If the individuals were paid per article then the person deciding which articles to "buy" gets the power of what is news. That would make things MUCH worst rather than "improve the quality of content

AAAAAND I wait for when Google offers free WiFi around the country. THEN it's game on. And I did mean when not if.

Apple, where choice seems to be the highest privilege bestowed by Stevo on his lil minions

I'm not saying I am Chuck Norris but I am saying that Chuck Norris approves. I am also not saying I am not Chuck Norris.
