Good sir/ma’am/person, we are clearly currently in the Overreaction Epoch, where the only way to share your feelings about everything is in the most exaggerated way possible. There is never grey areas and certainly nothing is anything less than either the worst or most amazing thing of all time.

Except it’s not a rescue or it would have had shots. Unless Virginia has the only shelters in the country that don’t give the basic vax upon entry. The details available make your arguments worthless, your attitude them ridiculous.

I haven’t been able to find subsidized pet care anywhere, but before belaboring that minor point let’s get to the real meat here. There are a lot of people in the thread throwing dirt on OP’s metaphorical grave for that connection, but you seem more interested in actually debating this issue. Thus, I come to you.

Maybe I am a conservative person in that regard, but I consider sexual different than sexy in that it implies an action, so that may be where our disconnect comes from. I kind of muddled that last bit, in that I meant more that the real basis for a lot of the people who really rail against this are the caveman types

In terms of the entertainment sector, do you really believe this? I saw your earlier comment about bikinis as well and can’t help asking. The act of going to the beach or a bikini itself is not necessarily sexy no, but intentionally doing so for viewers kind of is, right?

I mean, it took me like four weeks to beat Super Mario World, and the record for that is 41 seconds so....

I doubt it’s as complex as you think. Like it or not, individual games still have a majority demographic that would provide a baseline. And stream titles alone would give a strong baseline as well. The condom ad example in this story provides a great baseline. You wouldn’t want that ad on a Pokemon Snap channel, but a

I am willing to concede this if you are also willing to concede that it may be more than you think. I also agree that the EU would be tricky, but from everything I know, the majority of the EU wouldn’t care about that anyway unless they open up true adult content.

True, but my point was that the detail is there and has been for quite some time. It shouldn’t be that difficult to have similar systems within the realm of Twitch.

Nobody wants their actual ID in someone’s database. Not that it really matters, but these are people who use multiple VPNs to avoid ‘big brother.’ You start requiring enough details like that and you will have serious issues.

I mean, Facebook has let you get specific on friggin area codes within zip codes since like 2015. Just to clarify, that means I can hunt out people in LA who are originally from dang Kansas or something if I want.

The writing of that rule alone obviously implies occasional use of the exception as opposed to continuous thematic encroachment. Maybe it’s not what they intended and they are ok with all of this, but that doesn’t read like a loophole at all.

The most valuable thing about this whole set of coverage is not the funny details, but the insight into why our court system is ridiculously slow and stupid. The fact that this has to not just be created by someone but then covered inside a court room for a case like this is just ridiculously stupid and wasteful.

Circling back again here. It is still as I feared. Highlight Reel has not been returned here since August last year. But thank you for helping me realize it is still running on Youtube.

My understanding though is that it extends beyond just ‘recognizing’ them as country/principality/state/whatever to the point now where even saying the words is enough to cause these fits. I am curious why this is painted with such a light brush. The implications of refusing to even acknowledge the existence of a

I’m sorry about Underworld but they seemed to learn from that and haven’t done it since with that game. Microsoft saw the brunt of those practices in the One v. PS4 problems and has since modified quite a bit of their practices. The general sentiment seems to be trending toward the same with Sony, though they may have

I like puzzles and I don’t mind so much death in a game, but the more extreme versions, where the puzzle is about how not to die a la groundhog day, just don’t hit for me anymore. I understand where you get the rage impression, but it’s not that I just don’t get the same value I used to. I loved stealth stuff like

Damn I skipped a paragraph. Thanks for pointing that out. Sorry.

Just out of curiosity, was there a response to this? I mean obviously they didn’t but I’m curious what if anything was said on the other side of the email.

There is something unique about people that enjoy games like this that are intentionally hard. Not in a bad way, I salute you for it, I just don’t get it. Dark Souls always felt clunky, and that was even before I knew it was intentionally difficult. I guess I just want to forget about troubles when I jump in, not be
