Plenty of folks out there are running +100HP from stock through chip tuning, and the DSG is handling that additional power just fine thank you very much. Drivers side headlight is aimed lower than the passenger side headlight from the factory. This is done to prevent blinding on coming traffic and could also be the reason why you ‘think’ the halogen is throwing farther, when in fact the headlight is aimed higher.
