Spiderman is different because Sony technically has the Exclusive rights to making Spiderman movies/games. Which is a deal that existed before Disney bought Marvel. To be perfectly honest, I don’t think that any amount of money that Disney would agree to for that same deal today.

You’re conflating these instances. In one its an internal discussion about events that may be modern politics, job dynamics, compensation, etc. — This is for management and the employees to discuss what’s going on and come to something that may benefit them and the company.
