That is bullshit. They mocked Family Guy for its random jokes (and rightfully so.) They said, our jokes derive from our characters and our plot. So yes, South Park should be taken seriously.

I don't think so. They can't serialize the show and devote an entire season to politics and then say "why is everyone taking it so seriously? It's just South Park."
Very controversial Guiding Lifght storyline. You either loved it or hated it. Personally I thought it was awesome, except naming the clone "Dolly" was a little on the nose.
Passions was mind-numbingly stupid and yet an intelligent critique of the genre in one campy package. It was very addictive. I prefer James E. Reilly's DAYS tenure to Passions, but Passions was definitely fun. One summer vacation (cause I was a kid when Passions was on) my entire summer passed but I swear it remained…
RIP. Days of Our Lives was just crazy in the 90s. It was so bizarre and I don't know how the actors kept a straight face, but somehow he always sold it, overblown Italian accent, mustache twirling, and all. Stefano was maybe the best soap villain of all time.
If you want to watch the old episodes, they are available on southparkstudios.com. That shtick would have gotten old fast — if you don't believe me, look at family guy, which has been beating the same dead horse for 15 years now.
Ultimately, this season was a disappointment. It's too bad because season 19 was one of the best seasons they've ever done and I was expecting better.
Lmao @ MRA-SJW spectrum. God help us all.
We already know that if Clinton had won, the men of South Park would have been kept underground and milked for their semen.
I thought it was really bad. I think the CNN sketch made a great point, but I already find CNN irritating and SNL's parody was just as irritating.
KellyAnne got him elected. No way he would have won without her brilliant strategy. Whether you voted for him or not you kinda of have to respect her.
They actually threw a few member berries at us themselves this week with the reappearance of Cher's unintelligible auto tuning and Sheila's panicked "what what what?!" at the end.
I love how even Adam's allies absolutely loathe him. It's not just gameplay, Adam seems to be kind of socially clueless. But it's fun to watch how much of a trainwreck he is.
You sound fun…
This was SNL at its very best. I have to admit that the "liberal wine and cheese party to watch election results" was a slow burn for me, but accurate. We were all wringing our hands about how much she would win by and if the senate would flip and forgot about all those millions of actual people out there who wouldn't…
No, I can guarantee you that Trey/Matt are not that far up their own assholes. Read and watch some interviews with them. They would probably agree with you about Seth.
It is basically two different countries at this point, one rural and ex-urban, and one urban and suburban.
I'm guessing they never finished that version, or they would probably release it.
I don't think they completely re-wrote the episode. They probably just patched a few things here and there. You could tell it was a bit clunky and didn't flow properly.
The best episode IMO. It was incredibly tight, writing, acting, everything. And it was probably the best moral quandary… While I am happy we do not live in this society, when I see someone like Casey Anthony pronounced Not Guilty I almost wish we did. Humanity is a struggle between indulging our basest instincts and…
