I never quite "got" that show, but I did happen to hear a bit once that was absolutely hysterical and had me laughing uproariously. This guy was telling this woman how he wanted to rip off her clothes and give her the feeling of ecstasy, and the lady kept protesting in her upper Midwestern accent that she couldn't

Keep telling me what to think and what the only acceptable opinions are for a Democrat to have. That will be such a great election strategy.

No. Some really were there because they wanted to raise awareness to violence against unarmed black men. But the movement has been hijacked in many ways by anti-police, anti-government, anti-white forces. It's an inconvenient truth for the left, I guess, but that doesn't make it a falsehood.

Trump supporters want to kill black people, latino people, LGBT people, Muslims, and Jews. Just like Obama was an Indonesian Kenyan Socialist Muslim who wasn't even born here, right? BUT RUSSIA! BUT BENGHAZI!

Lol at the number of names I was called in this thread by the "tolerant" left.

You consider them a respectable mainstream civil rights group but you haven't done your research. The evidence is there on YouTube if you wish to find it. Or you can continue to blindly support them. That's exactly why I didn't post links. They're there. If you really believe you're right, you'll make sure they're

I thought about posting links but decided against it.

I believe some, if not most, BLM members want equality, not supremacy. They are wrong-headed in how they've gone about it as they have not convinced anyone to their side, but their hearts are in the right place. Then there are those motivated by anger who want to be the oppressors instead of the oppressed.

Uh, the dude who shot up congressional Republicans for one? Protestors who looted black owned businesses in Baltimore for another?

I have been trying to denounce the crazies on "my side," but they (i.e. The people replying to me in this thread) are digging in instead of seeing reason. Which is why I feel both sides are nuts and I no longer have a side.

So on one hand you say black people are being discriminated against. On the other you say, "fuck you *and everyone like you*." I guess you don't have a problem with discrimination then, just discrimination against black people.

I really don't see how these protestors are any different from BLM. When the left disavows its crazies (BLM), we can talk about the right not disavowing theirs. Until then, nobody has the moral high ground.

They lacked women in the writers' room, but is there any indication the early seasons of this show lacked any for that? Seasons 3-9 contain many of the classic half hours of TV comedy so beloved in our American canon.

Hot take: season 9 > season 8

She dies at the end.

I love Waterworld. And not even ironically. I would watch it if it were on right now.

Metcalf and Goodman absolutely carried the first season, but Roseanne's acting really improved as the show went on.

Christmas Vacation.

Agreed. When the camera pans to the empty chair and the music kind of wells up and you hear Roseanne's voiceover say "I lost Dan after his heart attack last year" I get chills every time.

Wasn't there a South Park episode about this?
