At first I thought it was part of the cape on the outside of his thigh. But look again. Is that some kind of plating? Now look at his waist on the left side. Is that also some plating there?

Hmmm. Wonder if Justin Sweet created these concept art pieces...

It was unnecessary to title this "Battleship". Hell, it could've been a sequel (of sorts) to "Battle: Los Angeles" because that's what this looks like.

What about the sense of being watched? How does THAT work?

Sing it with me now! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na PUTSCHMAN!!!

So this is your typical Smurfs out of water story? Dammit, now they've got ME saying it!

And here I thought ComiCon moved to Taiwan.

Insert sexbot joke here. hahahaha...insert.

Luke Cage...Michael Jai White would have been perfect! If ya don't know who that is, you shouldn't be here. Just kidding. I'd welcome noobs into our culture. Michael Jai White played Spawn, and is more recently recognized for Black Dynamite.

I hope they also include new Death Star plans WITHOUT that damned exhaust port.

Bacon wrapped windbreakers ftw.

"Get away from her, you BITCH!"

Why isn't Homer's "d'oh!" not on this list? It's probably the one used most often.

If anybody's interested, I looked at the book in the store today. The artist featured here is Justin Sweet, one of my favorite concept artists. [www.justinsweet.com]

I'll definitely watch if he can get Zach Galifinakis to play the Shrike!

thanks, kokutouchichi! I love me some good concept art.

How about crediting the artists so we can look for their sites?

shhh...i thought we were NEVER mentioning Episodes I-III...ever!

Regarding the Star Trek sequel, and this is just off the top of my head (I hope I get the years of release correct): Star Wars 1977, Empire Strikes Back 1980, Return of the Jedi 1982. Two years between Empire and Jedi. Maybe one more year of development would have helped?

Maybe those shorts would have at least earned a viewing of the pilot episode!
