I like his dancing, but man the Stallone mumble makes it hard for me to enjoy Channing Tatum when he actually tries to act.

Right, this needs to be pointed out. I think a lot of South East Asian countries with high Chinese populations (like Singapore until it was called out for being racist) have actually been pretty adamant about ethnically CHINESE people having more babies to hold back the tides of the browner heathens.
Rich entitled people are rich entitled people no matter what generation!
I was taught how to chop an onion by my roommate when I was around 19 and now I cook up a storm. So that's not too bad.
That's too cute!
One of the first rules for dating guys I have is "If I make dinner, does he offer to do the dishes? If not, run."
oof, if he saw her as "just" a mistress, I think he maybe has the same problems of respecting women.
When I see stuff about bullies and genetic dispositions to be "dicks," I'm reminded of an article I think I saw on here about the kindergarten teacher who taught her class to empathize with a transgendered kid by doing exercises on why it's silly to think of things as "girl" or "boy."
Yes! They're talking about this as if men who frequent brothels that may engage in human trafficking do so because they don't have more ethical options. Ask anyone you know who's frequented a prostitute and I'm pretty sure they won't say it's because they had no where else to conceivably go. Heck, half the time when…
Fingers crossed. It's interesting that it's only been one episode and we've had... what, four essays on Jezebel about it already. I don't like how the cast currently lacks diversity, but did we rag on every HBO show this much after the first episode?
Lesley Arfin is the Vice columnist, I'm not sure she's involved with Girls.
That's hardly true as an Asian person who lived in nearby Bushwick and had friends who were in Greenpoint. Yes, the demographics skew TOWARDS being predominantly white, but there's enough of us "nonwhites" out there to at least show up every now and then.
Really? That's fascinating to me!
Hearted!
I remember picking up Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty at a bookstore when I was 15! Because I was 15, I found the tagline of "sexy sleeping beauty goes through a wild sex adventure" intriguing... and then had nightmares for weeks afterwards about being bound up, gagged and whipped by Prince Charming and his crazy BDSM…
I'm hoping this and the whole "James Deen is seducing our teenage girls and making them watch porn" thing is just the inevitable furor over a slight push in the direction of normalizing female sexuality and we will emerge from all of this a month later thinking that working women and teenage girls masturbating is…
I don't care if it's not about what sex workers go through, but the response to finding out that members of a group that represents us in another country being sex tourists should never be "so what?" be they secret service agents or a group of unaffiliated bros.
Man, the blase attitude I see in the comments section here and on Facebook towards sex tourism is really a giant bummer. Even barring the very high possibility of it leading to a situation that compromises security, the only acceptable response to men who buy sex in a country where prostitution isn't legal (and bonus…
Yeah, isn't it just negotiated into government worker contracts nowadays? "We're dialing down on the pensions but we do offer an increased hookers and blow stipend."
Right, if we were to go by what old people mock us for, we wouldn't be able to do anything. Not just creative or FUN stuff, I mean ANYTHING!
