Noooooooo

It’s County Fair season. Look ahead and plan a day, mid-week with manageable daytime temperatures and burn 8 hours of PTO. Check out all of the exhibitions, see all of the farm animals. Eat some really good food!

Never had a problem letting friends drive my cars. The first time my mom let my wife drive her brand new Camry (07 model) I thought my wife would lose her mind; her parents are so obsessively anal about their well taken care of, but decidedly mid-market stuff.

Fiat fan heeah!

Never thought of Captain D’s as a LJS Knock-off.. we had both in Colonial Heights. They were the Burger King vs Wendys of my childhood. You’re right about the breading, it was luxurious and delicious.

I would have gone Bill Nye, not Mr. Wizard. Bill broke it down in an over the top, pure 90s way. Also recently got back into the craft, but either missed the mark or I personally have aged out of his target demographic.

Wanky/iness is a 90s portmanteau of wack and janky. A hoopty all polished to the 9's isstill a hoopty. but it’s YOUR hoopty, so you cruise it anyway. That’s straight up wanky.

My tipstaff is ready for any of the obliging buggers that presume to darken my door.

I miss car advertisements (and design) that made it look like people could have fun, not just aggressive. What’s wrong with being cute/fun/upbeat/quirky? When did we decide it was expected or even ok for everything to look so angry? 11/10, Would daily.

I’d never heard of the A50 Utility, but now I desperately want one. Had to go looking for photos to make sure the ad wasn’t blowing smoke about how ungodly cute the thing is. Lookatit!

It blows my mind that a wing of government that is “Pro-Business” and “Pro-States Rights” is pushing so hard to overturn Cali (and other CAFE compliant states) regulations when the manufacturers themselves are backing away from that stance.. The mantra “When has the government ever given back something it took” comes

I know The Grand Tour backstory, and I don’t care. I spent too many years in the military helping people move from barracks to base housing, base housing to a rental, etc to not absolutely love this idea. It’s the most American thing ever. Forwarded this article to my County Ruritans to have a competition at next

This thing reminds me of the little Toyota pickup my dad had back in the 80s. Perfect little delivery/take the kid fishing/pick up mulch go getter. The MG branding alone makes me want it for the “wtf” factor, but mainly because I want to pet it like it’s a baby goat. Tough looking, but adorable little guy.

This exactly. The Titan and Tundra are both excellent trucks for their generation. Unfortunately, they are generation 19 or 20, and the big three continue to one-up each other every single year. They are competitive.. I don’t think Toyota or Nissan really understood how competitive that market is, but if they did,

This, exactly. I looked at them in person when I needed something to pull a slightly larger travel trailer (7000lbs) but they had (on average) similar payload stats to 1500s, Tundras, and even the non XD trucks. Reminds me of a friend of mine who swapped a 4bt Cummins into an XJ. Too much iron. You take all the life

Going to be honest here.. I use cruise control as much as possible. My ram engages at 20mph. 500Abarth at 25, same with the Grand Caravan. With a dodgy right knee (functional but achy after extensive use), particularly in the rain. Just lower your speed, make sure you have plenty of tread to pump out the water, and

Yall are missing the point of these trucks. Mine is our station wagon, our trailer puller, my “lawnmower is stuck in a ditch” extractor, and our UTV. Not everyone who has a 2500/250 is afraid to use it. Heck, I only got my hard tags 2 weeks before this photo was taken.

This is a violently incorrect take. Go look in the door at the little yellow stickers people tend to ignore.. unless it’s a two-wheel drive, single cab, it will be less than 1900lbs. Most of the 150s, 1500s, Tundras, Titan MAX or whatever’s are all 1700 or less. Especially if 4x4 and crew cab. Now add 750 lbs of

Yeah, back seat is good for maybe preteens or kids in boosters. Not suitable for a full-sized rear facing car seat by any means. I desperately wanted a 124, but couldn't put the top up, even with the seat reclined as far as it would go. Sitting in the 500 was a revelation for sure.

This is quality Aviation Kinja. Planelopnik ftw. Looking forward to him having to hold Mast. Officer’ing is like 87% personnel management, so if more than 15 minutes of this movie involves planes, it’s a load of horse-hockey.
