Good article! Some great tips and advice here. I would add to make sure they take some water with them. It’s incredibly important that parents engage with their kids with what they are doing online. That goes beyond Pokemon into whatever game they play, or what videos they’re watching on YouTube.

Ah! OK. He might be instrumental as he was in the books. I always thought he was a colorful addition. Remains to be seen, I guess.

Absolutely! But, at the end of the day, this is Jamie and Claire’s love story. She’s basically been mourning him for 20 years, with a daily reminder of him (much mention of how much Bri is like him) and suddenly to find out he survived? That revelation kinda sticks in my craw since it was different in the books.

Biggest disappointment of this finale was waiting for the “big goodbye bang” since these two barely did anything all season. They really just threw Geillis in there and she fell flat on her face. It’s the 60's people, have you ever seen a more lucid rally? At least they did give more information concerning travelling

Which character are you eluding too? (I’m a book reader, so just a clue would help.). I was also thinking that the next two seasons are so they can incorporate the stories from the companion novels. Roger picking up that toy plane has me thinking that’s exactly what they’re going to do.

The books do more to flesh out Claire and Bri during this time. You may get your answers in the next season(s), but I don’t want to spoil anything. I will say, you don’t know enough about Frank. Again, maybe next season. As far as Bri, she is an adult and no longer needs to be raised by her mother.

She doesn’t know how it works. Will she go back to her time, or some concurrent time, same with a return trip.

They barely aged much in the books, so, shouldn’t be too hard. In fact, there was a lot of butthurt about Claire not ‘suffering and starving’ and her appearance reflecting that hardship.

The tape was “leaked” by her mother with the help she is a mom. the guy that was the head of Girls Gone Wild. Just thought I’d throw that out there for the sake of Kim’s integrity. (cough, cough). I actually thought her tweets reflected her being a mom. And that’s something they can’t take away from her.

Don’t wear championship merch. All championship hats and shirts are tacky and annoying and make you look like a 45-year-old soccer mom who only caught up with the team midway through Game 7. As far as I’m concerned, we should send ALL championship merchandise to third world countries, not just the stuff that got

There’s actually more back story from Jamie’s youth. And... it’s something Jamie deals with, occasionally.

Nice how you noticed that about the Duke. The book does make more of the man-crush he has for Jamie and I did appreciate how this episode did paint the Duke in more of a, let’s say, flamboyant light.

HA HA HA! But...there is Lord John to look forward to! And I do like their story.

It’s unfair to paint Jamie as a ‘flip-flopper’. He has no choice in the matter, his family’s home and land are at stake, not to mention the danger him being a wanted man could bring, not to mention his name was forged to make absolutely sure he was a part of this mess, not to mention his wife knows how it all turns

I have to agree with you on Claire. She is a total bitch at times. It would seem that the ‘time-travel scenario’ with all it’s ups and downs, is really the only situation that works for a person like her, imo. But...Jamie did pull some dick moves of his own in the books, so maybe it’s just a couple of people getting

Great show this week! Finally our first introduction to LJ Grey! With two more seasons picked up he is one of a few new characters we’ll soon see more of.

Nailed it!

Or Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings...

I might be missing something here...I get the new security that comes with a chipped card, but I don’t understand the confusion over sign\pin. Your bank card used with PIN can/does cause bank charges (like when you use an ATM not associated with your bank and are charged a fee). Using your bank card with a signature

Early on in the first season, Jamie is translating a song from Gaelic about someone going through the stones and returning years later, to Claire. Does give a basis for an overall acceptance of superstition and supernatural occurrences.
