Truthfulness of the story aside, jail and prison are different. You’re really going to tell me you don’t see a screaming, unreasonable person who shoves random people at a store getting a ride downtown?

If the story is true, does that Bernie supporter not deserve to be called ignorant? Fun fact, I’m a Bernie supporter too. But if the story happened as stated, the Bernie supporter WAS in the wrong. Somehow, I’ve managed to refrain from assaulting anyone over my political views.

Yeah, there isn’t one. Go ahead, point it out. A person that commits assault because they believe they’re politically superior to someone deserves to catch a little shade about their choices in political dialogue.

You don’t know how he knows that. Perhaps the other person had a REAL shirt on. But way to call him a “smug looking” “asshole”, “major douche”, and “claiming ideological superiority” because in the only information we have, the person defended himself against assault. Question. If this story is 100% factual, what

IF this story is true, he claimed ideological superiority to a person that screamed, threw fishsticks, and assaulted him. That seems pretty fair to me. He didn’t claim to be against Bernie, he made a “feel the Bern” comment against a misguided supporter. Unbunch your underpants.

Yes, being that in the story the other guy is probably in jail (meaning the police were notified), I’m sure they didn’t realize he got punched in the face. WTF are you smoking?

I shop at Walmart, and don’t support Trump. Please don’t make a mess when your mind explodes.

You did note that the other person (if this account is true) assaulted the original poster, correct? And the op didn’t mention their own ideology at all (other than a love for british motorcycles, that is)

... You realize that there is a specific area in the game with other players, right? So unless you go to that area, there is nobody else unless you are playing co-op.

This is a game where the well-regulated militia (because that’s what the Division is, really)

When do I suggest anything of the sort? I disagreed with the person that said we’ve been fighting large scale wars. I haven’t offered an opinion on whether that was the right move or not AT ALL. I’m arguing with people who don’t understand the difference between limited and total war. That’s it. And that isn’t

Was it “total” war? No

The man with 30,000 toy cars didn’t have a wife or children?! I’m shocked. SHOCKED!

Those were all limited conflicts, but nice try <_<

Uh... WW2 was a different story, because it had multiple fronts with multiple peer and near-peer ally networks fighting on just about every continent, rather than an, again, limited conflict/proxy war in a tiny country. But, at the most basic, yes in WW2, we geared up for total war, and were willing to accept total

Ok... first off, since I don’t have time to get real sources, here’s Wikipedia:

Being that the Vietnamese government says that over a million NVA and VC died during the war, I’m going to say they could field a lot more than 400k.

We haven’t fought a “sacked-up” war since WW2. Everything since then has been varying degrees of “limited conflict” or “police/peacekeeping actions”.

That’s not really fair, the tin hats were meant for a specific thing, and did their job pretty well. Remember, they’re meant to stop fragments coming down on you- which they do- because that was the big cause of injuries when they were brought in. They aren’t meant to stop a bullet (at all), and were really only meant

You are making this comment on a story where she had a no-injury, absolutely minor wreck, and kinda waved at another driver.
