I'm former light infantry, and a combat veteran, but I'll cede to your experience socializing with criminal justice employees, it sounds extensive lol.

I was speaking more generically, but thanks for your input. Of course, there are scenarios where any force, depending on situation will have troubles. I believe we've strayed pretty far from the topic at hand, but I thank you for your service.
Look, I suppose that might be true for some people, but it's not for me. I don't go around calling people names period, but if I did, I wouldn't call a guy who cheated on his significant other a bitch. I'd call him an asshole. Am I demeaning all the poor defenseless anus's round the world who never hurt anybody? …
I have zero plants about how I would go about regulating and intercepting weapons, because I said it was actually not feasible to remove them in the first place. It was a hypothetical.
Good luck with that right-wing whack job thingy you got going on there.

I don't need propaganda, I'm former light infantry.
Well that's certainly true. But removing guns would remove gun violence. Nobody believes it would remove murder. That's part of the rational debate I mentioned. Certainly if you remove gun violence, then say 'knife' violence would go up. What's the average mortality rate of gun violence against knife violence?
Please don't tell me when you hear somebody being called a bitch, you literally think they're calling that person an animal in heat. Please, I beg you.
If I could be assured the general public had the capability of reasoned thinking, based on intelligent and correct information, and a vote was made in favor of banning handguns, I'd go along with it. The problem is I don't think its possible for ANY of the above things to happen. Look no further then the other…
See my other replies. You have no idea what you're talking about.
That has zero to do with military capability. We kick the shit out of the Al Qaeda and the Taliban whenever we engage with them. The issue is political in nature. You're argument has zero bearing on the debate at hand.
What? We're fucking awesome in any role we need to play. You know what we suck at? Political balls. Any problems in any of the conflicts you mentioned above were political in nature.
Really? That's your response? People hiding in bushes took down the British empire? The general firearm technology at the time was quite a bit different then what it is today. Does the average Joe hiding in the bushes have jet fighters, smart bombs, and pilotless drones? You're argument is stupid.
Naw, bitch is a fine word to use. In the right context. And while I don't give two shits about Timberlake, I don't have a problem with him or anybody else, calling a women who cheated on them, a bitch. Sometimes a bitch is a bitch.

I also haven't really seen a good argument 'for' guns. Which is why I don't really give a shit about either side. I don't own any guns anymore, but frankly as someone who used to be combat arms military, it wouldn't have surprised me if at my current age (38) I owned several. I don't give a shit that people like to…
I watched that last night. I thought it was a pathetic excuse for a MMA fight. Other then a couple lucky elbows that drew blood, it was mostly just a prolific amount of pawing and pushing.
So he was supposed to turn those films down, because he like should think he wasn't good enough?
