“All season tires are good enough.”
“All season tires are good enough.”
This.
At what point does it start to feel like you’re just paying the direct sales equivalent to a dealer markup? Prices change as the market changes, but $8k/22% in just a few short months...
I love driving in the snow, and most other people seem to hate the snow. That means that the best time to go out on a date was in the middle of a snowstorm. At least that’s what it meant to me when I was 18. I had a driven my 2001 Silverado through winter more than once at that point, and it felt truly unstoppable.
I like both of these... but I don’t think they compete against one another.
Here’s what I’d like to know...
I wonder if that twin turbo 4.2L V8 will make its way into other models at some point, despite the fact that Cadillac said it would be exclusive to the CT6 V-Sport. I imagine that they spent too much time, money, and effort on R&D not to. I imagine that most buyers in China are not checking off the twin turbo V8 box…
I was wondering the same, wasn’t that engine supposed to be exclusive to the CT6? If it isn't utilized elsewhere, that will have been a huge waste of money for GM.
I don’t know... I just went back to some (now) old videos of the ZL1 lapping the Ring. There’s no doubt the ZL1 is much, much louder, but something that’s absent in this new video is any sort of supercharger whine, like, at all. Maybe I’m crazy, but I think it sounds turbocharged. I’d be willing to bet that it’s…
Just out of curiosity, when did we start recognizing doing donuts as a form of street racing? I have never seen somebody associate driving in circles creating tire smoke with actual competitive racing.
Or so we thought...
I came here to see how wild the new Civic Type R would look... I am disappointed.
Unless they decided to factor in fuel costs for the Benz and Lincoln... in which case, I wouldn’t doubt that those fuel guzzlers would suck up tens of thousands of dollars in gasoline over the course of 300,000 miles. Think about that, if you got 20mpg (realistic number for a town car I would say...) then you will…
A friend of mine has some Acura (I think? I don’t care for Acura much) that has this “start/stop” tech. I hate how it feels. The car shut off at a light with us right up front of the line. When it came time to set off, the car felt so hesitant. He was quick to go from the brake to the gas, which resulted in a jerking…
New Yorkers drive quickly with haste. Drivers from New Jersey can barely keep their cars on the road, and when they do, they’re usually fucking EVERYTHING up on the road. But that’s just a New Yorkers perspective.
Ugh. I was there on trivia night and got a fantastic photo of the birdshit on the hood but my phone has since broken... I... I am so sorry. :/
I’m at the point where I have a “I’ll believe it when I see it” attitude with Honda, especially after we waited years and years for the NSX to come out. If I was a customer I wouldn’t hold my breath for the Civic Type R to actually arrive here when the Focus RS and Golf R are already here.
