Just out of curiosity, when did we start recognizing doing donuts as a form of street racing? I have never seen somebody associate driving in circles creating tire smoke with actual competitive racing.

My 2010 Mazda MazdaSpeed3 is enjoying it’s first winter with me.

Or so we thought...

The color. That’s pretty much it lol.

I came here to see how wild the new Civic Type R would look... I am disappointed.

Unless they decided to factor in fuel costs for the Benz and Lincoln... in which case, I wouldn’t doubt that those fuel guzzlers would suck up tens of thousands of dollars in gasoline over the course of 300,000 miles. Think about that, if you got 20mpg (realistic number for a town car I would say...) then you will

A friend of mine has some Acura (I think? I don’t care for Acura much) that has this “start/stop” tech. I hate how it feels. The car shut off at a light with us right up front of the line. When it came time to set off, the car felt so hesitant. He was quick to go from the brake to the gas, which resulted in a jerking

Oooh, I almost forgot that I had this rather fantastic photo of Mr. Regular getting up close and personal with the Yugo...

New Yorkers drive quickly with haste. Drivers from New Jersey can barely keep their cars on the road, and when they do, they’re usually fucking EVERYTHING up on the road. But that’s just a New Yorkers perspective.

Ugh. I was there on trivia night and got a fantastic photo of the birdshit on the hood but my phone has since broken... I... I am so sorry. :/

I’m at the point where I have a “I’ll believe it when I see it” attitude with Honda, especially after we waited years and years for the NSX to come out. If I was a customer I wouldn’t hold my breath for the Civic Type R to actually arrive here when the Focus RS and Golf R are already here.

That’s likely all it was, still just find it a bit odd they wouldn’t reset the mileage of the car in all of the places it appears.

That crossed my mind as well, but the difference between the two numbers was the same when the car had less than 100 miles on it as it was when the car had 35,000 miles on it... I figured if they were measuring distance in different ways the gap between the two numbers would widen or close as it was driven more but it

This *sort of* ties in. I remember my mother had a 2012 Dodge Charger where the odometer on the dashboard read about ~25 miles less than a separate odometer in the cars GPS. I always wondered which one was accurate, but eventually figured it was safe to assume it had been driven 25 or so miles and then reset.

I really don’t see a need for this, at least on Playstation3... pretty much any lobby you pop into there’s a modder dumping money on everybody’s heads anyways. I have over a billion dollars from just hanging out in free mode because of this...

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but in a tensile test such as this, isn’t the machine supposed to slow down the rate at which it’s applying pulling force as the sample begins to stretch? It seems like the force applied didn’t slow down until the sample was already broken...

We should start a GoFundMe or something if this doesn’t work out for him. I’d gladly chip in a bit so he could lawyer up, haha.

Ah yes, I’m personally from Orange County NY and it was very similar. For the most part it was a bunch of trucks that parked together in height order (including my own). Aside from that there were a few wealthy kids with newer nicer cars or a bunch of, well, junk I guess.

Sounds just a bit Lame-o...

I had a blast, thanks Jalopnik for a great Sunday night! I hope that we’ll get to see a bunch more Jalopnik hosted events in the area soon!
