I'm not surprised she didn't get a movie; I'm surprised there isn't much acknowledgement that the source material for the MCU is geared towards a primarily male readership, where the women are there for fantasy fulfillment and to prop the main hero in as sexualised a way as possible.

I feel the reviewer missed something in this episode… It never came across as them trying to make Pike sympathetic, I think they were showing his connection to the kids, and his us vs them attitude he always had, if they'd shown this before he would not have had the same effect he did previously, and like it or hate
