Quantumania was a lot of fun but shoots itself in the foot with the last 5 minutes. A bad ending can make you forget that you were having fun earlier.

I disagree that Portman did her best. She absolutely sleepwalks through that movie. She tried her best with Love & Thunder, which is a badly flawed movie, but at least gave her something to work with and she gave the impression that she actually wanted to be there.
I knew Gelman from Another Period, but Go On really cemented him as one to watch for.
Not sure if there’s an app for whatever platform you’re using, but you can definitely watch it on their website.
Dream Door was better than Butcher’s Block, but No-End House was the clear high point.
Personally, I quite enjoyed Becky. It’s not outstanding, but it’s perfectly watchable. Wrath of Becky is dreadful...it was written in 3 weeks by a pair of writers who had not even seen the first one when they were hired, and they were given no direction from the studio beyond “write a sequel to Becky.” They shot the…
SNL is likely holding off announcing a specific start date until after the contract is ratified next week. If I had to guess, October 14th is the most likely return date. I believe SNL is categorized as a variety show, and operates under the “Network TV Code”, and is not impacted by the SAG-AFTRA strike.
No. A lot of TV outside of the prime-time scripted arena are covered by a separate contract, the “Network TV Code.” Soaps, variety shows, talk shows, game shows, reality/competition shows, award shows and the like are not affected by the SAG-AFTRA strike. SAG members who do interviews on talk shows would still be…
The second season of American Auto was a significant improvement, if you gave up early I’d suggest giving it a look.
I’ll be completely honest and say that Superstore was fantastic.
But it averages out, because most people also absolutely don’t have Peacock or give a shit about a John Wick side project involving nobody from John Wick.
I think it’s because you know that this is where it’s going from the moment Ahsoka sees them flying above the planet
But when he first appears as a mysterious little forest monster, his backward talking is largely verbing at the end, not subject. “Help you I can,” “Stay and help you I will,” “Slimy? My home this is,” “Take you to him, I will.”
Honestly, the most glaring thing about that speech is the way everyone immediately forgot that Yoda doesn’t backwards-talk, that was a thing he was doing when pretending to be an insane old space hermit.
Oh, I didn’t know that. That’s very sad.
She told the story in one of her books, which apparently I’m the only person who ever read because nobody quoted it after she wasn’t interested in going into detail about the allegations.

Is COT the one that gets to like page 400 before it catches up to the end of the previous volume?
You mean the closed-off emotional rock who is basically a non-personality outside of literal first-person narration?
No, I don’t imagine they’d change it, though given that she seems to be pulling double duty as Elaida, she could be an unwitting pawn. But episode 3 made it pretty clear that she only “released” Mat so that he could be manipulated by Min, and episode 4 revealed who’s ultimately behind that plan...
