It was totally backstory conversation. I hate that! LOL but I gave them a pass since I as happy to see The Hound.

I thought this review was more readable than some of the other ones this season.

Stray observations:

So…I think this is a classic don't hate the playa situation. If you can't stand High Sparrow (and I really can't), focus that ill-will at none other than Cersei. She created this monster, just like she created FrankenMountain and even Joffrey.
She is literally a Mother of Monsters, in a way.

OMG now that weirdo time travel is in play….what if the tree man could be old BRAN!!!!!???

But she was the conversation interrupter! So convenient. The Red Witch got saved by the bell before being forced to admit the awful truth about Shireen.

So since Olly actually saved Jon's life once, doesn't helping kill Jon merely bring Olly to a zero balance in the relevant karmic bank account?

At first I was thinking that Lester is the person. He's the only one who had access to Malvo the fox, and in the end control over her him. But then I read the following on Reddit - "Malvo upset the order of things and chaos ensues. You could argue that Lester was a cabbage who become a rabbit that ended up becoming a

Kind of like a conversation I had with someone who had told me I worried too much about my boss and my career. Essentially calling me a coward! My response, it's not about the fact that I am afraid - I forge ahead despite my fear and that's what matters.

I'm not sure that's the case. Peggy was an interesting person to say the least. She was good at being ruthless in the end, but other than that she seemed pretty delusional and thick. 1979, 1989, 1999 I think Peggy's lot in life would have been the same.

Not true on the melanin. Mr. Tripoli is dark. If you look at the images, not a big difference there. I just can't imagine Hanzee as some slob cramming lobster in his face…but maybe he just gave in to all his desires.

Reminds me of a quote Ang Lee said about the premise of Brokeback Mountain. It's a pretty dark thought actually. It's - life is hard and sometimes a person must give in.

When his boss talked about his quarterly reports, I realized that I forgot to send in my monthly report yesterday afternoon. :-(
Mike got promoted and now he's a bureaucrat. It sucks!

Dunno if that's true or not but I LOVE your analysis of Key and Peele. Maybe Malvo is the id and Key and Peele were the ego and the superego? Maybe not but it's a cool idea.

Happy birthday! I'm sure we are ALL gonna be happy next week. Except unfortunately it's the last one (whatta bummer).

It looked like Independence day. No way it was just lights. I'm baffled too but the episode was so good that I…kind of don't care as much as I would've thought?
I was like NO WAY!!!

Someone very smart I know reminded me that this story is being TOLD. As in recounted. So we're seeing a version of events. Maybe folks back then had different thoughts about UFO's?

LOL. Just imagine my shock the other day when I arrived at the "hotel" where I had reserved a surprisingly cheap room. Only to see that the MOTEL part of the sign had been turned off.

Chekov's Milligan.

We (at home) actually think he just wanted to get her back for stabbing him.
