Yeah, the only sport I care about at all is the NBA, but I still read this site every day. Via RSS (clicking thru of course). You know you’re getting internet old when all the internet stuff you liked has died. Like writing and RSS.
In the immortal words of Lord Byron:
This is cogent analysis and I expect it to get more stars than my initial comment. Here’s your first. :)
3-9 is more likely.
Two thoughts which effectively contradict each other:
How does China feel about the NBA’s tanking problem?
Wow it's almost like China is *really fucking terrible*
This. Fuck them and fuck spineless Fertitta and his garbage steakhouses. Support the HK protests.
Fight for Freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.
yes, the classic deadspin contrarian opinion...literally every journalist, and website for nerds calls it classic. rando blogger Felix Biederman on the other hand has a different palette yes, more refined than the average human and thus he finds Joker to not be as good as Four Brothers.
It’s impossible to overstate how beloved Lincecum is among Giants fans. It was completely reasonable, in a ceremony that involved legends, Hall of Famers, and postseason MVPs, that Timmy was the very last returning player introduced, brought onto the field on his own. Back in his peak years, even as the team was still…
I was at that game. While the game itself sucked as a Giants fan (Dodgers were up 5-0 before the 2nd out of the 1st inning, Bumgarner was supposed to pitch[?] and got scratched at the last second and Rodriguez really barfed it up out there), the retirement ceremony was REALLY nice.
Back to back Cy Young’s doesn’t do it for you?
The flame burned bright for only five seasons, but I’m still having trouble with the Mariners passing on the hometown hero.
Lincecum admits he’s something of a recluse.
Should have been ejected.
If a helmet-to-helmet tackle after the whistle won’t get you ejected for endangering player safety, nothing will.
Body appeared to lock up? He was unconscious.
If this doesnt warrant an ejection what does? It was late and totally unnecessary
