We have an induction range, and used to use the cheap T-fal thermo disk nonstick ones with the thin steel disk on the bottom, but they warped too easily. I think the thinness of the steel disk and aluminum body caused the warping over time, which is particularly obnoxious on a flat glass induction surface.

My point was that I’m actively frustrated by these kinds of arguments about whether one group conforms to the other’s stereotypes about them, because they are actively harmful for the end-goal of advancing actual progressive policies. And given that, I’m going to bow-out of this conversation.

Well, we now both agree that the stereotype doesn’t accomplish anything. Great. And we both agree that erasing people’s voices based on stereotypes is bad. Great.

I’m glad they don’t feel excluded. I’m glad they’ve got positions of leadership. I don’t doubt the good intentions of the DSA. But they’re not immune from these issues, any more than the DNC is.
