I got the feeling Brosnan getting Bond was like him getting together with his high school crush. At first he was excited: "yes, the part I've always wanted to play!" But then the reality of it set in and he realized it wasn't what he dreamed about. Then the monotony of it just made him bored and resentful.

I think the first Bond movie that showed him visibly drunk was Tomorrow Never Dies.

The header image was enough for me. Jesus.

If that's the case, it really stretches suspension of disbelief. They're both immediately and territorially surrounded by Boltons, nowhere near any critically needed medical help. Brienne or anybody else would be bogged down carrying his broken frame around, and very likely discovered.

While everyone is talking about how the edit cut happens right after Brienne swings, the editing also strongly indicates he's dead. Because they mirror that scene with Ramsey picking off wounded soldiers on the ground.

The Onion Knight of House Tuber.

Well, all those ships are there. Isn't his name something lame like Davos Seaworthy?

Or Mel is going to be scooping up some fresh Kingsblood slushies.

There actually was nice visual symmetry in Stannis's troops being pinched and flanked by organized cavalry, just like how he defeated the Wildling army.

Apparently everyone is way too jaded now to like the Usual Suspects, but the reveal was genuinely shocking, and it was interesting to try to parse through how much of the story was real and how much was just invention. It's a difficult trick to pull off, throwing into doubt everything that happened in the 95% of the

Here's a Very '90s Story. Electr-O-Pura was an album that I, basically, decided I fucking needed to understand, because I could tell there was something underneath that I would like, but I couldn't really unlock it.

I like the idea of Tom Cruise whitesplaining jazz to Jamie Foxx.

He actually made a pretty good Bond villain, but it was such a stupid movie.

I actually think the story could be really solid. *spoilers ahead*

You'll get a co-writing credit on my spec script.

"There there, old chap. I've killed you with a Walther PPK pistol, a most marvelous weapon. I shall have to tell the lads at the club all about it over gin and tonics and a game of whist."

I've heard that story, and I think it may have been Cubby Broccoli who wanted Moore. Fleming was thinking of a debonair English aristocrat type, and that's why he didn't want Connery. Too rough, too Scottish.

I think I remember reading Craig lost a tooth the first day of filming or something? It was a rough intro, for sure.

Jane Seymour in LaLD was one of the best things to happen to the world in the'70s.

I thought it was David Niven? And wasn't James Mason in the running?
