There's some seriously shitty acting going on in Dorne, in addition to all the fighting and fucking.

They do this a lot. And it's so much better to remind people of key plot points from previous shows and seasons that affect the current show than to show a summary of the previous show that probably has no bearing with the coming stories. Like, showing Arya sweeping in Braavos would be useless to these storylines.
So style points aside, going into close-quarter combat with a big ol' thick Harpy mask obscuring a good chunk of your vision is pretty stupid.
Exactly. Go ask a musician how much they enjoy having people randomly yell out song names in the middle of a set. Especially when it becomes A Thing, and it happens between each song, and some comedic genius will inevitably yell out "Freebird!"
So is there any detail of this story that didn't scream "BAD IDEA" from the get-go?
"Like a crazy person." <— that's the sharp end
Right. If she hasn't figured out by now that trusting anyone who says they're doing things for her best interest is a bad idea, she's a moron.
Drogon flies to the top of the pyramid and adopts the same pose as the Harpy, then winks at Dany. Dany smiles and gives a big thumbs up. Freeze frame shot, credits roll.
Yeah. Decisions based on principle in this show lead to ruin. I wonder if Dany will be an exception to this.
Ye Olde Maroon Motor Cycle Jackette.
I get why they think it's insulting we refer to ourselves as Americans, as they also live in the Americas. I guess I find it confusing that the Americas are considered also one landmass, and not just a geopolitical shorthand.
Yeah, it's the same for book publishing. I used to get royalties for a technical book I co-wrote, and some quarters the amount was small enough they just carried it forward, maybe indefinitely.
But the terms are negotiated between the labels, publishers, and the streaming service. Maybe the labels would be disinclined to sign bands that don't attract more listeners, but that's no different than the old model, with physical media the labels had to manufacturer and move. It should be easier, because the…
If Portishead and Pharrell are only getting chump change, smaller bands are getting an envelope full of pocket lint and nail clippings.
If the streaming services paid a penny per play, instead of 0.0007 cents, he would have made $340,000 in royalties. Which seems more fair than $2,500.
But his music was listened to by at least 34 million individual people last year. And it's very likely higher, because that assumes one person per stream, but any particular stream could have easily been listened to by a room full of people.
Right. The black is the end, oblivion, death, whatever. And he pretty clearly wants to highlight that it is death. He intentionally put it in to say, "this happens, and then there's death." But he's just not going to explicitly say whether Tony died right then, because it doesn't really matter.
From what I understand, probiotics don't really do much in a non-compromised gut. They're good for helping out if you're taking antibiotics or strong antacids, but your normal flora will pretty thoroughly wipe out any of the strains in the probiotics once they get back to equilibrium.
Me too. I missed that the little girl was obviously young Cersei because of that.
If the "infinite universes" theory is correct, there is at least one universe where everything is the same, but Tywin has googly eyes in that scene.
