@shorty63136: Eh, I think there's a lot more to leadership than simple popularity. He successfully *got* the country, but he didn't lead it that well at all—in fact, he ruined it. Someone downthread said that Jim Jones got a lot of people to follow him into the jungle but that doesn't mean he was a successful

@slowpoke.r: SRSLY. Jim Jomes was a sucky, sucky leader and so was Hitler: he proactively ruined the nation he was supposed to be a steward of.

@shorty63136: @water baby: I can't agree that he was a successful leader. As I said upthread, he artificially inflated Germany's economy and national identity on unsound principles that set them on the path to ruin, and sent his citizens to fight an unwinnable war and then led them poorly. Basically pretty much

It drives me up the wall when people say Hitler was an effective leader or a good one (whoops even though he killed all those people).

I'm in LOVE, ok?

I'm an attached 22 year old and I'd still probably marry Jackie Chan in a SECOND. a SECOND. if he asked.

I have it on decent authority that Richard Gere is either gay or bisexual or at least was in the late 1970's.

I actually really like the bowl cuts. They, and Gaga's weird medieval-looking makeup, are the best thing about the video to me. She should go more in that direction and less in the Like a Prayer/Take a Bow/Express Yourself/Vogue direction.

I love Gaga, I do, but I spend half this video wondering if she was deliberately doing that whole late-90's Scary Surreal Bullfighter Evita Madonna thing.

@esprit-follet: ORLY? I mean I know the Telephone video doesn't count because of its willful robotic B-movie line delivery but links plz!!

@esprit-follet: She's practically an alien and probably the only pop star who would do such a thing, that's why.

I can't get on board with Olivia Munn love or Olivia Munn hate.

I love it! and am also thankful she isn't in a mini-version of her mother's outfit.

@caddiewoodlawn: Yup. Handsome guy now, handsome guy when he was bigger.

@Elopingthemilieu: Dramatic post-partum weight loss isn't universal, but it isn't unusual either. Think: she lost a baby, all the accessories that were in there with the baby, not to mention probable waterweight and has been breastfeeding since.

@Penny: Also, what terrible pictures! He looks like a flushed, drunk mess and you can hardly see her face. I expect more, cheesy-plate-company!

@myriamparis001: Buy a shirt that fits your chest (even if it's many sizes too big for the rest of you) and tailor the waist!
