“what’s it like being a twin?” this question destroys me. i die a little every time.

Taylor on breakups:
"specific economics aside, no matter what a couple asks for as a wedding gift, you should shut right the hell up and give it to them."
I get so seriously frustrated with the idea that plus size = shapeless. It is the biggest damn misconception, because with most shapeless clothes, only teeny tiny people actually look decent in them.
Kara, I think you need an LA spin-off of Caity and Rich's NYC series, where instead of touristy spots, you go to celebrity-owned restaurants.
Don't do it. For a multitude of reasons. Here are two:
The image is overexposed / washed out, has a good amount of flare, and is taken under warm light. If the dress were white then it would have a yellow/orange tint to the "white" parts, not a blue tint. The "gold" color swatch (which actually appears as brown, not gold) is sampled from the brightest part of the black…
I've for real had skinny ladies pout when I tell them I got something at an plus size only store- especially when I'm wearing Eloquii because I ALWAYS get comments on my Eloquii stuff. How the tables have turned! FAT PRIVILEGE.
We've come a long way thanks to bloggers like Chastity. Thank you!
What's funny now is how often my friends who wear SMALL single digit sizes will be asking me where I got something. Mind you, whether it's classic or trendy they still have 1000x more options, but it's just the fact that I can dress the way I've always wanted to AND in a way that other ppl admire and even…
Preach. I spent so long hiding in tees and jeans. Now I go out of my way to pick pretty hues and detail and sparkles and all these thing I wouldn't allow myself in high school and now I'm tearing up but only because I'm SO PROUD OF US NOW <3
It's rather freeing to be able to dress how you WANT, not how you HAVE to dress, isn't it? I think all of us fatties have spent far too long settling for clothes because there just weren't that many options. In high school it was either dowdy polyester shrouds or stuff covered in off-putting and unnecessary…
Ditto, gurl. Buying clothes in high school was a nightmare.
Why is it so hard to find a dress that is not too short or way too long!? I love wearing dresses to work (Whole Foods), but it has to be long enough that I can be comfortable bending and leaning over without my butt falling out. I just want to work without worrying about it. It's so annoyingly hard to find dresses…
ModCloth is the worst for having gorgeous dresses that I NEED...and then I realize they are super-short and the fabric does not provide any stretch, so you can't move once you get the dress on. Blergh :(
O.M.G. Thank you for sharing! My two friends and I are on eShakti right now! It's totally up our alley and we all have such different shapes/sizes. I love that you can customize for no extra cost!
I'm with you on the Modcloth complaint! Their clothes have such spunk and vivacity, but no way can I get away with the length of their dresses and skirts most of the time!
I had an eShaki dress sent to me to review for my blog and the custom measurements thing was great! I did realize that I like a little room in my clothes so I should have sized up a little though.
As a weirdly proportioned tiny person I also fully endorse eshakti for the full-customized feature. It's a great investment if you was a classic dress that fits like a dream. And they are constantly sending me coupons for $25 off.
