There are some legitimate reasons not to want homeless people in your area. I live in an area with lots of homeless and it does cause problems mostly associated with Theft and Drugs. For example Bike theft is rampant where I live.

I don't know about all Kids loving the Original Trilogy. Some kids can get into them, but much of the time I have a hard time showing kids the Original Trilogy. A lot of times they just get bored with them since they're so old looking. Usually I have to start with the Prequels and then I can get them to watch the…
The thing is the adults that had the most issue with the Prequels were the ones who were kids in the 1970's-80's who were big fans of Star Wars. Most adults didn't take either trilogy that seriously. Most looked at ALL these movies and just saw summer popcorn flicks with great special affects, but a pretty standard…
I'll tell you something about Jake Lloyd. Kids like him. I show kids Star Wars movies and the one they usually want to go back and watch is The Phantom Menace and a big part of it is a Young Anakin Skywalker, they can really relate to him.
Revenge of the Sith is certainly the most mature of the Star Wars movies, but by an large all the Star Wars movies and especially the whole movie franchise is largely geared towards a younger audience.
I find the Older fans who enjoyed the Prequels the most are the ones that have come to terms with the fact they aren't kids anymore and that Star Wars is primarily a children franchise and that they won't enjoy it the same way, but can still appreciate them for what they are. I think Kevin Smith put it perfectly. https…
Thank You for the refreshing comment. I think it's just a matter of what ones used to. To me Yoda was a Jedi and I saw no reason for the character to never use a Lightsaber it is the weapon of the Jedi after all. I guess I didn't have too many preconceived notions about the character at the time so I guess it was easy…
Nah, it's most Prequel Basher's who are sick in the mind, or at least too lazy to come up with an original thought.
The Battle of Geonosis was awesome it definitely beats out the Battle of Hoth as being more epic.
I'm just here to remind you the Star Wars Prequels existed.
Hate for the Prequels is hardly populum fallacy. Most Star Wars fans like the Prequels. Most people I know like the prequels and most polls(albeit non scientific) show most Star Wars fans like the Prequels. What's interesting is most people using the comment sections of these polls are bashing the Prequels. It could…
Another thing to point out is George Lucas didn't make it for those 20-30 something year olds who spent the last 16 years imagining the era before A New Hope. He made it for a new up and coming generation of kids and potential Star Wars fans who had no reason to be let down.
I don't see how he retconned anything,…
Well said, and hopefully the next Battlefront will be dedicated to the Clone Wars era.
You need to look at this. The character most of these commenters are most like.

How old were you when you first saw Yoda pull out that Lightsaber. I was a kid when the prequels came out and all my friends and I thought it was awesome. George Lucas isn't trying to make some super edgy, or super serious Scifi; he made a Fun Action Adventure movie set in space for Kids. That is exactly what he did…
Mike Kilmo pretty much covered it all extensively to the very last detail.

The Prequels don't just rhyme, but are the Original Trilogy in reverse.
Mike Kilmo pretty much covered all this in his Ring Theory Article. The movies not only parallel, but each trilogy outright mirror each other. The Prequel Trilogy is the Original Trilogy in reverse. Episode I parallels Episode VI and Episode II is Episode V in reverse and Episode III is also Episode IV in reverse.
