It’s a requirement for Jezebel posts to have at least one factually incorrect item per story that could have been easily verified via Google.

Thank you.

I am a 37 year old white male indie rock/ old school punk fan that could recite that Toni Braxton record front and back without breaking a sweat.

Also, I don’t know who thinks Larson died of AIDS or that he was gay.
The Maurine/Mark plot was based on his ex dumping him for a woman. And it’s well known that he died from not having health insurance.
Plus, the idea that the play revolves around Mark and Roger is a little reductive. It’s clearly an ensemble piece.

Jezebel never met a “Cis-Het White Man Exploits Poor Little Woman Because Cis-Het White Men Can’t Possibly Be Talented On Their Own” headline it didn’t like, no matter how inaccurate.

Larson took some of the plot from Schulman, and spoiler alert, also “plagiarized” Puccini, I guess, because some of the show is based on La Boheme. Schulman didn’t (and couldn’t) take legal action because Larson didn’t use any of her material word-for-word. He incorporated some general plot points, and general plot

I thought Rent was based on La Boheme.

Jonathan Larson—who, contrary to popular imagination, wasn’t gay, never lived in the East Village, and didn’t die of an AIDS-related illness

Love Joey Fatone’s whole get up! He seems like a cool guy. Man, as a USian living abroad, I miss the hell out of this time of the year. Halloween and Thanksgiving seasons make me so homesick.

And so is DeNiro - he was all about showing that anti vaccine doc that supposed Wakefield who invented that autism = vaccine nonsense at Tribeca.

I’m just so disappointed that this article didn’t begin “Avril Lavigne isn’t dead--she’s born again.” It was RIGHT THERE!

I’m going to say it, Gina was my least liked part of the show. Her plotlines went nowhere and they always focused on the worst part of her which was her laying about doing fuck all at the office.

It’s important to remember that this is a *children’s* book series. I read the series as an adult, and enjoyed it, but I never expected it to deal with adult themes.

‘I’m a very famous person, unfortunately.’

Eddieee did not give affection!...

Well, let’s see how things go with Weinstein — a rich white man — before saying rapists aren’t untouchable.

At least we identified the real culprit, the girls parents???

In an astonishing display of restraint, here’s nine-months-pregnant Hilary Duff politely asking her stalker, whom she addresses as “sir” while he is idling in a residential driveway next to her car, to please stop following her to her son’s soccer game, her errand runs, and her sister’s house.

Funny, ‘cause I don’t remember US record labels having an issue with Ben Fold’s “Whatever and Ever Amen” having “Brick” on it in 1997. Or giving that single a fuckton of airplay.

I have an adventure cat. His name Lil Dude and he has hiked and camped many of the National Parks in the West. Hiking with him is different than hiking with a dog, he moves slower and will climb into my pack if he senses danger such a dog or mountain bike approaching. He will hike for an hour or so then hop into the
