As someone who didn't like most of the first season, all I can say as I disagree with you. And season 2 was only behind Flash for me, in terms of comic book shows.

"Salem’s witch iconography and pop culture ubiquity subtly shift blame to the victims of the hysteria—implicitly justifying the claims that these women actually were witches. "

Could be real, could be fake: The important thing is that it let Barsanti grind out another column.

First Kick Ass movie was a pretty good time, but the second one was just awful. I saw Kingsman, and it was…okay, I guess? I didn't hate it, but I just kind of shrugged when the credits hit.

First Class was half a good movie, and half an action movie with action scenes that look like they cost $50 to make, and were made by college students.

No there isn't. Plenty of countries have action movies, but only America has the unique problem of these kinds of killings every other week.

Hope you haven't seen a Tarantino movie. Your head would explode.

You know what? Those first two movies were alright. There, I said it.

She was always a huckster. Remember the leeches? One of the people she named (Balon Greyjoy), didn't even die. She took credit for coincidences.

There was nothing gratuitous about Cersei's penance walk. It was long, and painful to watch, as it was supposed to be.

You know they are adapting an ongoing series of books, right?

Erik, you really should have noted in bold, underline characters, that Sansa and Theon aren't SEEN dying, and that Jon conveniently died while a priestess of a religion known for resurrecting people is at the castle - a priestess who was VERY interested in him earlier this season. And after the show made a note of

Varys and Tyrion are fun - but they are, like, "cotton candy" fun. All sugar in the form of sarcastic, bordering on Joss Whedon dialogue back and forth. Two of the smartest guys in the room, saying witty, smart things to each other. They also act as a sort of audience surrogate - the only two people smart and

There''s no way Jon is going to stay dead (even if he really did die). The show had those scenes with Melisandre talking to him for a reason, as well as her conveniently coming back just before he got gutted. We also know the show accepts the whole resurrection thing, because of the scenes with Beric Dondarrion.

This cast is increasingly interesting, which is probably good for a film that is going to be such a weird risk.

A lot of comics have their roots in fairly laughable stereotypes, because they were invented decades ago, and are a product of their time.

I don't need to "come to terms" with bad movies, or invent some insane theory that tries to reconcile flatly directed, shitty movies with the people who hated them.

Tims' Canadian stature is starting to erode away. Starbucks is expanding rapidly, and doing well up here.

Daredevil and Punisher have established history in the comics. They didn't just drop Dazzler in there, or something.

Way to not pay any attention to what your fellow right-wing travelers are actually doing and saying on the radio, the teeveebox, and the newspaper.
