How did he get the money to open the clinic? Such facilities need to be rented, you need furniture and equipment, hiring staff... I would have trouble doing all that at my age, it would have been impossible at 18.

He clearly is after the adulation/attention that he associates with being a “doctor”; some kind of blend of narcissism and white knight syndrome. The actual years of study, massive debt and so on don’t interest him in the slightest.

The funniest thing is that an 18 year old with zero medical training opening an “Alternative Medicine and Urgent Care Clinic” isn’t illegal in the least. They had to catch him promoting himself as an MD in order to arrest him.
