That’s cool, but anime aside, I’d like to point out Pacific Rim is criminally underrated. I don’t understand how it didn’t do better at the box office. It may be one of my favortie movies ever. Then agian maybe I’m just biased towards giant mechs and kaiju.

Did you know its just a moddded version of Gambryo the engine use to make Fallout 3 & oblivion? That is one robust engine; I just wish they would use it for more than 2 franchises (fallout & elder scrolls). I would absolutely love to see a World of Darkness (old WoD not new WoD) game built on this game engine. It

I still just love love LOVE that Spider-Man is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he belongs!

They weren’t reboots. At all. In fact, there were no “they” for us to even reference. Marvel had no events to even classify as reboots or not-reboots. It’s just... one day Iron Man was a product of the Vietnam War, and then he was a product of a more recent conflict and Vietnam wasn’t mentioned again. All the stuff

Until recently, Marvel never rebooted. They used a sliding timeline method and simply ignored anything they wanted to ignore. Anything that was dated was just ignored, with a few notable exceptions (like Cap will always be a WWII solider). Most major events always “happened” while minor things were happily forgotten.

“How many canon DC universe is there?”

“Rebirth won’t be just another reboot.”

I like mainstream superhero comics. I hate that for some reason creators think their universe needs to be rebooted every 4-5 years. Marvel went how many decades without a reboot and gave us some of the greatest years and stories in comics. Now everyone wants to have a Crisis every time they mess up the continuum and

“It’s not an event”

It’s not that they aren’t allowed, but more that there aren’t any nice things to say about conservatives. Remember, this is a guy who believes the devil is running around causing mischief who voted against gay rights and for allowing corporations to be people.

I was hardly a fan, but this Supreme Court decision is one of the most important things to ever happen involving video game culture and he wrote the majority opinion. It’s a minor part of his legacy, but given that this is a gaming-centric site, it seemed worth noting.

Something about broken clocks.

Did Gawker sell you or something? You guys aren’t allowed to say nice things about conservatives, let alone Scalia!

It’s obviously because she wants to have sex with you. I know that’s probably what you’re hoping.

The people who have complained to me about Superman being boring and uninteresting are all exclusively people who haven’t read Superman comics. I’m not saying that all people who dislike Superman are speaking out of ignorance, and this is purely anecdotal, but all of my experiences of people complaining about how

A part of me wonders if this whole thing is a backlash against modern criticism that Superman is “too perfect” and “too powerful”, like when Batman: Knightfall came out as a backlash against the idea Batman wasn’t “dark” or “gritty” enough.

Wait, the fact they were lepers and discriminated against elsewhere was an urban legend? I thought that was a super obvious part of the story.

Tough Luck; Don’t Resuscitate. A quick google would have yielded the answer.

Because we all know that the Superman comics are really all about ethics in superhero journalism.
