That was pretty cool, man! Radical! But I confess I did turn it off after 38 minutes.

What a dick.

I'm sorry, wait...what was that?

Truly horrifying. Though it's rare when I'm on two wheels these days, I don't think I'll ever feel the same way again riding behind a motorcycle.

Rooby rooby rooooooo!!!!!

Michael Bay would be proud.

Omg, I want this so bad! Well, this and a half-ounce of OG Kush to accompany it.

Yeah, I think if I were racing an expensive beast like this on a track...I definitely wouldn't be worrying about the engine note.

Hmmm, well, you seem to know your way around a PC. Might be the only time when I would ever actually consider using a PC, actually...to watch stuff. The less I'd have to touch it, the better.

Yes, indeed. Turbo-izing will end the era.

Damn. Wish I could be there. :/

Yes, the stipulation of Home Theater makes all the difference. Doesn't take too many rocket scientists at Microsoft to make an OS to handle that.

Actually, I am quite comfortable with building my own (PC or Linux) computer and have done it a few times — it's fun!

Ok, thanks for the explanation, I didn't know it was called active sound design. I'm sure you know what you're talking about; I've never owned a BMW, and the one my dad owns is pre-active sound design.

Wise choice, Mr. Von Platen. The ten years of owning my 944 S2 were blissful, and though I'm passionately in love with my AMG now, I look forward to the day of owning another Porsche...but not the entry model.

I disagree. The quality of Apple's computers pretty much best PCs out there. I've worked on some Sony Vaios that came close, but things like mouse pad tracking smoothness, the intuitiveness of the OS...nothing shadows Apple in these respects.

Not active sound system, but Active Body Control. It's the hydraulic, computer-controlled suspension system employed by AMG. And it's amazing. Makes my 4,600 lb. SL55 feel much lighter than it is in terms of maneuvering, while allowing me to still enjoy the sheer heft and solidity of the car at the same time.

Linux is awesome. At one point, I played around with an installation of Red Hat on a PC that used to be a Windows machine. Was so much fun!

I can most dedinitely relate. I actually had fun running over to Frye's Electronics, handpicking all my parts and installing everything myself after researching for the best stuff (within budget) to build my PC at the time. Trouble is, like you say...so much wasted time dealing with support issues.
