If you wrap hard shell tacos in a soft tortilla, it's a miracle. You get the stability of the tortilla but the crispiness of the shell.

I actually sort of miss the old "photorealistic" style of just slapping photos of faces onto characters instead of modeling them. It's not particularly good, and I'm not suggesting we go back to it… but I miss it a little.

Oh, duh: Indiana Jones and the Iron Phoenix. Apparently it was canceled after LucasArts realized it would be very difficult/illegal to sell a game about resurrecting Hitler in Europe. We missed out on a sequel to Fate of Atlantis, and that's unforgivable.

It probably would not have been handled well, but that one really stings. Docu-games (is that a term?) are a fascinating idea that's thankfully being explored more in the indie scene, but 6DiF's cancellation basically put the kibosh on that genre for a while (and probably permanently at a higher budget level).

The weeding out of the old guard for their shitty regressiveness is a very good thing. Now we can start celebrating new people who are innovating gaming without also being cognitive toilets.

At one point, Oddworld Inhabitants planned to make Squeek's Oddysee, in which you play as a slug. More specifically, a Slurg, the lowest creature on the Oddworld totem pole that you can accidentally kill in the previous games by stepping on it.
