I love this show is taking its time. Let me rephrase - I’d rather Picard take its time and build the environment and establish the characters before throwing us headlong into action action action. I’m totally fine with it.

Yeah, everything in the episode rang very true, to me. I particularly liked the CiC specifically calling out Picard’s live-on-“television” outburst that happened, like, two days earlier.

My first thought when the Admiral refused Picard’s request:

Get good. How do the casuals feel about it? They’re the money makers for Activision. If they, and the lower tier, are ok with it then the higher tier players can just suck it up. Personally, I like it. I also like to challenge myself every game. Beating up on newbs isn’t fun to me. 

I think this thing is exactly what I’m looking for. We tow a race car or equipment trailer 6-12 times a year. We need a big car a few times a year. I sold my Yukon XL because it sucked too much gas for road trips or business delivery runs, it was too huge to commute with, and it felt silly to have a gigantic truck…

Had an opportunity to tour the USS George Washington when it docked in Hong Kong in around 2011. It was one of the most awe-inspiring things I’ve ever seen.
