Bloodlines was a great game for the time, and as someone who played a ton of D&D, but WAAAAAAAY more White Wolf stuff (like, damn near all of them, Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, Hunter, Wraith, Changeling, etc.) getting a Bloodlines sequel, and one that’s drawing comparison to Dishonored, just...yes.

All the fucking yes.

I’ve never played the first, but I always hear glowing reviews from those who have so I find myself feeling somewhat excited about this. I’m a sucker (heh) for both darker vampires and Masquerade settings, sooo. Yeah. Too early for the hype train, but I’m buying a ticket when the time comes.

So long as they bring back the “Asylum” club song, I’ll give it a go.

That’s really cool! :)

I mean you’re not wrong.

I have no desire to play DF, I just don’t have the time and energy to get to the point of enjoying story generators, but I’ll definitely buy it because these guys deserve it. So much respect for what they have created even though it’s not for me.

As someone who’s been in the industry for over a decade, and who’s now trying to break into indie game development, I’m completely gobsmacked at how little these folks are making on Patreon for this game.

Just wanna throw it out there that if you like this kind of thing, the best way to get more of it is to make sure the creators get paid. I *know* there’s some folks out there thinking “$6K/month, they’re living large!” but even for two people + associated other expenses, $6K/mo, depending on where you are, can be

Good for them. High on the list of folks who deserve to cash in on their work.

To turn this into a splinter article. This is another reason why America needs Single Payer Health Care.

Dwarf Fortress on Steam will have graphics, with an optional ASCII mode.

Probably the same as it feel to be Souix or Cheyenne and hear white people talking about building the wall.

Murray wrote, “We will talk more about each of the three major components of Beyond when we know we can be precise, and look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks.”

They made a terrible mistake and made promises they couldn’t keep, but it appears they’ve delivered on almost every single line item and then some. Yes, it took 2+ years of free updates, but this is a shining example of making it right.

You still have to farm rep and get certain achievements. I doubt the requirements will be going anywhere.

Believe it it or not Blizzard said the Kul Tirans were one of the harder things for them to design, given how WoW’s armor works. Evidently it’s not as simple as we’re inclined to think, likely because of how old their systems are at this point, but that’s just conjecture on my part.

Larson and Jackson had killer chemistry though.

> Marvel can’t afford to depend on that as it moves into its new phase.

Why wouldn’t we have been excited for Iron Man 3?

The MCU’s Captain Marvel just comes off as smug and disinterested, with a constant ‘deal with it’ look on her face in every frame of the trailer.
