Smash is not a 3D game in its execution or mechanics, there are many instances where a move “wouldn’t hit” if it was being treated as a 3D attack. This is one of the few cases where it’s not being respected as a 2D hit.

I think a small part of the outrage over this story is that our college education system is so broken that even the fourth female lead on a mediocre family sitcom can buy preferential treatment for their kids.
