But did Teddy make it to Cancun ok?!!??

transplants love to joke that we have no idea what we’re doing

I don’t care if Democrats are prefect. I care if they’re effective.

Looks like Zoey found her photocopied version of Schmidt.

I read those ‘nices’ in George Carlin’s voice:

Yinz think that fuckn’ jagoffs like that would know better. Haul her ass dahna Grant Street then throw’er in the Three Sisters.

I have a 2014 Mazda CX-5 and, for me, the most interesting replacement car on the market now is the Mazda CX-9 PHEV. My total commute is 20 miles one way, so the PHEV drive train would be perfect for my situation. My only real issue with the CX-9 is the cost and size. I just don’t need that large a vehicle and I can’t

Yep, which is why you have to test better before you sell a product as finished. “Paying Customer” is not a synonym for “Beta Tester”.

As an engineer myself, I get the complexity. But at the same time, people need to get to work. Kids need to get to school. Groceries need to be picked up. I think auto manufacturers are pushing out products that haven’t been properly vetted not because doing so is a challenge, but because they can safely take risks,

Maybe she was tired of getting walked all over.

This is the most maddening thing about the modern Democratic Party - they’ve forgotten how to campaign. Bill Clinton functionally forged the modern campaign cycle, which is to say 24/7/365. He never stopped campaigning even when he won. When he hit political odds in the Senate or the House, he just took his case to

In comics, every single take is a “fresh”, “new”, “based upon something never explored before” story. Every damn one. It’s gotten so bad that it’s kinda codewords for “This story is going to explore some bit of trivia from panel 4 on page 13 of this obscure issue from 1992 that nobody remembers not even the original

Mine has the Weber and I love it. I don’t like futzing with carbs and I don’t like paying someone else to work on my project/fun toy. So it’s Weber for me! In fact, even if I did finally get a GT and it had SUs on it, I’d switch to Weber because they’re so much easier to tune. I never got balancing SUs right. I felt

Personally, I’m utterly indifferent to MG/Rover the brand. I’m a huge MGB, MGA, and MG TF fan, but anything else they make - meh. I mean they’re fine enough I guess, but there are other cars in those model types that pique my interest much more. A Modern SUV from MG isn’t something I’m particularly interested in, no

OP: “Which is better for a B, the original SU’s or a Weber?”

How I Can Tell Jalopnik Isn’t Dominated By MG Nuts

Oh no! Actually Grey MGB GT’s fetch more money. There’s a reason they call it the poor man’s DB5. If you can’t afford a DB5 and wanna play weekend James Bond, get a grey MGB GT.

I’ve got a convertible and I’m always keeping my eye out for a good GT at a great price. The convertible is awesome, but honestly in the height of summer and in the winter, it’s useless. A GT is nice because A) no leaking in rain and II) heat actually stays in :)

That’s a pretty good price for a MGB GT, although more on the expensive side for a MGB Convertible. GT’s were a lot rarer in the US than the convertibles. You can usually get the convertibles for the $5-$10k range, but the GT’s tend to hover in the $12,500 - $16,000 range, although some go for more.
