People who think they get a say in what happens at my table because they’re at a different table are way bigger assholes. Nobody is at the establishment to make your life better. They’re at the place for themselves. Your approval or lack there of has no part in anyone else’s dining experience. You’re more than welcome

Nah, bring the dog. It’s vastly preferably to any of the other people in the place. And less disgusting.

Counterpoint: Inside seating has vastly less dogs you’re allowed to pet.

I believe you’re misreading the statement, not I. GM/Honda claimed “GREATER (emphasis mine) affordability” Not “affordable”. Erik took issue with the current average price of EV’s being $60k and calling them “affordable”.

“Fees” are a growing portion of college costs in a lot of states. The reason is that many states have some sort of regulation body that controls Tuition. Often, although not always, that body has at least some vague eye on the rising costs of Tuition. In some states, there are even statutory limits on percent change

Yeah but they literally don’t. I mean they can call anything anything they want, sure. You can call a Chevy Spark an Exotic Sports car, but that don’t mean you can sell it to anyone buying an Exotic Sports car nor does it mean you can charge Chevy Spark buyers Exotic Sports car prices.

Yeah, but that’s a CHEVY Bolt. I’d rather walk than ever buy a Chevy anything again. Come to think of it, I can positively say that least 85% of the time I’ve had to walk due to a broken down car, it was a Chevy (the remaining were MGs and if you ride in an MG, you really should be aware that’s a possibility). Now

What makes you think that $60k doesn’t fit into Honda and GM’s definition of “affordable”?

I’ll pretty much guarantee a non-zero percentage of people will call the ‘Ariya’ the ‘Aryan’.

The takeaway from the latest climate report should be “that ship has sailed. Our 1.5deg C increase is pretty much a foregone conclusion.” Our next stop is 3deg C increase. The only question is whether we’ll stop that in time.

Check their public filings and you’ll know pretty quick.  Or check the governmental records.  That’s the benefit of open records laws.

Similarly, there’s no reason the market won’t effectively force direct sales if given the opportunity. The truth of the matter is we simply don’t know. The market hasn’t been allowed to sort this out. We know research says consumers want to buy directly, but they also want a place they can ‘browse’.

That’s the thing... manufacturers don’t necessarily get to dictate whether or not they “want” to deal with a market. The Market dictates the terms of the transaction and manufacturers are only one half of that equation. If people demand direct sales (and government intervention doesn’t keep it from happening), the car

What’s the main difference between Polanski/Allen/Weinstein and Smith?

His attendee giftbag only has $75,000 worth of cool shit instead of the normal $125,000.

Convicted child rapist Roman Polanski won a Best Director Oscar in 2002, right around 25 years after his conviction for raping a child. Then it took another 15 years for them to get around to throwing him out of the Academy. Do you really think they’re going to do that to someone who committed the vastly lesser

You must be in some serious shape there. I’ve never seen such a massive leap in logic!

I’m not sure I agree with everything completely, but certainly the general gist. For one, I had no idea Pinkett-Smith had shaved her head for any other reason than style. I now know she’s been vocal about it before, but I just don’t pay that close enough attention to any of the Smiths to have known that before. I’m

I’m not going to speak for all white men everywhere but to your questions.

Somewhere Chester Thompson is sad :(
