You need to hang out with better drivers then. I know lots of people that are on 250,000+ miles without a bump or a scratch. Hell, I’ve had exactly one “accident” in my life (which was me getting hit while sitting still at a stoplight), and I’ve driven WAY WAY over 250,000 miles in my lifetime.

This isn’t a money supply problem. Average weekly earnings are higher 2nd quarter 2021 than any quarter in 2019 and all but the 2nd quarter of 2020. Even adjusting for inflation (which is still minor through June 2021), it’s on an increased slope except for that COVID thing everyone likes to pretend doesn’t matter. Fur

Just reporting what I hear in my <40% vaccination rate state... the assumption seems to be the only possible outcomes from COVID are the false dichotomy of “sniffles” or “death”. This leads to a bluster/morbidity response, as in “I ain’t afraid of a little sniffles” or “if it’s your time to go, ain’t nothin’ you can

Dealer install options aren’t necessary for the car to function though.

Yep.  Put that plan into place and Ford is off my next vehicle list.

Shit, I’d be all for giving a tax break to millionaires with the money if that’d get it through the Republicans. This is too important to be kicked down the road longer. Enough damage and suffering has already happened.  End this nonsense already.

My god, the reading comprehension on this site has just gone to crap.

Like I said in my original post, lots of people have used it for OTHER things... but it was never intended for that. It was about cooling. There are a small subset of truck owners who use it for that sort of thing, but if the OP wants to know why more truck owners aren’t into it.... it’s because most truck owners

It’s kinda not needed. Think about the history and evolution of the truck design. Up until the (80's? 90's?), most trucks didn’t have AC. That little window was needed for airflow, especially if you didn’t want to roll your main windows down. Sure, plenty of people used it for a pass through of some sort, but that was

I’m just waiting for the day when “tactical” becomes the new truck design buzzword.

You still need salespeople for test drives

From the time the traffic stop was initiated to the time the guy was laying on the street was somewhere around 10 seconds. Had she needed to radio for approval to open the trunk and then retrieve a firearm, I think we would be talking about how a guy murdered a police officer.

I never said I wanted to disarm the police. I said I wanted to lock the police’s weapons in a safe in the trunk so they have to THINK a little before they arm themselves. That’s not “disarming” and more than having a gun in your nightstand is “disarming” you from protecting your home.

Where, exactly, did I say that?

I genuinely have no idea what you’re on about here.  I guess cliche crap makes you feel better that you don’t have an actual point in all this....?

Keep in mind that “state funded” doesn’t mean just the legislature.  Perhaps more importantly in this context - most colleges and universities are state funded, which means they can’t travel to those places for activities such as... sports!

A shockingly large amount, at least from a WV perspective. Because of the bullying efforts of Byrd, a LOT of national centers are actually in WV (the FBI center, for instance). They host a lot of national events/training/that sort of thing. This is going to have a huge negative impact on WV... and it damn well should.

Because the police are a special class.... they’re the ones who are empowered to investigate and arrest people who break laws. When the law keepers break laws, who do you call?

If 6 commercial planes crashed per year, would you still fly?

Sure, that’s certainly possible... hell, maybe probable.  But that’s still better than a bullet in the chest.
