Roddy Woomble did a couple of solo albums that are pretty good as well. They kind of have a more folky-celtic vibe to them as opposed to the more rock vibe of Idlewild.

I love that song. One of their best.

I own that one, but I haven't really listened to it.

I love "Mistake Pageant" from 100 Broken Windows. I can't remember why I first picked up this album, having never heard of the band prior. Possibly through a random listening station at a store, possibly enticed by some UK Magazine's hyperbolic praise sticker slapped on the CD.

So it is. And here I just listened to that EP yesterday. It's not on my iPod though, nor do I have it on disc.

I bouoght some a month ago for the same reasons. It's okay. I imagine they would taste so much better in warmer temps. I'm thinking on a deck for a cookout or on a beach.

I did the same last week after I saw them.

Pantera's The Badge just makes you want to fight someone. It's got so much pumped up awesome to it.

It was excellent! Though the Crowd Banter after the first break was getting out of hand. We had the misfortune of standing next to this obnoxious old man who would half-heartedly shout "Fingertips" after each song. He would also say "Never heard of it/them" to any announcement from the Johns about a new song, or…

The Indians are up to their usual slow April start and are looking terrible. Where do they find these guys that can't seem to hit the ball, or field it for that matter.
