Yeah, but if they followed the books there would be a lot of gear-grinding and waiting. I mean realistically how could they have put everything in? Why all of a sudden in Season 4 would we want to start following the Greyjoys? Would the audience and actors still want this show going into Season 9 with no end in sight?

I believe a short-lived feature here at the Ol' AV Club a few years back was "Who Won Television?"

I'm having trepidations about this upcoming season. I don't know if it's my underlying non-conformity that is chafing at the enormous popularity of this show, or if it's my cynical nature that thinks maybe the best of GoT is in the past and now it will get significantly worse. (too much Westeros? or my ever-changing

I agree with you fully on Y's ending. I was left disappointed as well. Still a great series though.

Who besides Kevin Smith has ever spoken out against Polanski? I think maybe Jamie Foxx did a few years back.

And I can't even get vinyl pants in my size right now. What am I going to do for the fetishist ball this weekend?

I started off the week getting a poor night's worth of sleep (Too much coffee on Easter Sunday) as a result I went to work tired and didn't want to do shit. I have been stuck in that mode for the last two days and I don't see myself doing anything about it for the remainder. The problem is I'm so bored.

I had one the other night where my vision was rapidly fading due to my eyes disintegrating.

I'm almost finished with "Disenchanted" by Robert Kroese, which is a decently funny story about a Wraith wandering a fantasy world trying to break his curse.

Nice gams though.

Absolutely agree about Ex Machina. The day to day running NYC, Spin City stuff was great. The wrap up to everything was such a cluster of bad.

Maladjusted isn't half bad. It's not half good either. In other words, it's on par with every other one of his solo albums.

I like to think of Christopher Meloni as a high-priced Elias Koteas.

To be fair, they're Mutants living in a sewer, and teenagers no less. They probably don't know any better.

But did you see "TMNT; Turtles in Time" in theaters? Because I did.

It will be so quiet there without all those Christians though. Make up a fake holiday for some other day, preferably when the weather is really nice.
