Oh, god, that is awful and hilarious imagery right there.

That’s an interesting theory I hadn’t considered. I don’t think I would mind her being “emotional” as much if her default reaction wasn’t to dissolve into tears.

I think the one from the O.C. (Mischa Barton, I think?) was his rock-bottom worst partner, because she managed to be awful and mean. I just don’t necessarily think he can handle Maureen’s nonstop whirlwind of emotions. I definitely can’t, and I’m not even stuck with her in a room 24/7 each week.

Laurie Hernandez is my faaaaaaaaave. I knew from the get-go that she was going to be the clear and obvious winner, but that dance on Monday was amazing. Professional-level dancing right there.

Does that mean that we’re due for another round of Satanic panic?

My eyes glazed over no less than five times, but I was determined to finish it.

I kept thinking it would be over soon, but it kept going and going. Great writing, but... seriously, what.

...

I definitely spent the first four episodes thinking “what the hell am I watching?” before it clicked and I got into the show. Also, as the show went on it also started focusing on the lives of the other Dolls, who all made the show significantly more interesting (Victor and Sierra were my faaaaaaaaaaves).

Yeah, someone else pointed it out to me. :( I should’ve just known they had done something shitty by now.

Ah, I knew I must have been mistaken! I think it’s just always reasonable to assume a business who has been around long enough has done some shady, shady things at some point.

When I tell friends to watch Dollhouse, I always have to warn them that it takes getting past the first 4-6 episodes before the show really gels and you can get into it. I think that’s partially why it failed, because it was a hard conceit for people to get into right away. Once you can get into it, it’s a really

Yeah, I think this needs to be understood/repeated. It’s the same thing that happened/is still happening with Abercrombie & Fitch and their ilk. If your brand is focused on a particular trend and nothing else, eventually you’re going to be in trouble when the trends eventually change, unless you have the right people

I think some/most/part of the clothing ModCloth sells is USA made. That’s the only one I can think of that isn’t already embroiled in a bunch of questionable behavior (but, hey, it could still be and I just haven’t noticed it on my radar!)

This reminds me a lot of all the sociological question at play in Doll House, though you could make the argument that that show was more fucked up because they were using actual humans as the “dolls.” I enjoyed Doll House when it first came out (and for introducing me to a bunch of really talented actors), but I’m not

Emilynoel seems like the nicest, most normal person, which is why she’s my favorite. I’m a big fan of Tarababyz, too, for the same normal, down-to-earth reasons. Tati’s great, too--I have to give the woman props for her dedication to her business.

I hope he’s suffering from several anal fistulas right now.

That was one of the most infuriating quotes (I mean, really there’s just so many shitty choices) of this article, because I never understand how a person can be so blindly stupid. They assume that the attention must be good, like there are people sitting around waiting to hand these girls cookies and trophies for

Omg that’s amazing. And really kind of cool, when you think about it--how human bodies can be so different but still be amazing athletes.
