For as long as I’ve read DS, I’ve always found it mildly humorous that the most level-minded blog on the entire Gawker Media series of websites, is a sub-blog for one of its most aggressively shit-brained. And this story is one of the better examples.
Only 1 of the original invasion ships landed (all the others crashed), and it was in the middle of Africa. The tribes and armies had to fight the aliens that were hunting them. Everyone else in the world was working on incorporating their tech into humanity, leaving Africa to deal with that issue.
